Beginner's Guide to Chinese Paper Cutting

This is a clearly written book describing the history of Chinese paper cutting. I recommend it for anyone interested int he origin of paper cutting. It includes some of the basic Chinese symbols and the recommend method for freeform cutting.

The Beginners guide to Chinese paper cutting was interesting to look at. Was given as gift to a child who likes it.

Very detailed instructions. Gives examples of projects as well as the necessary tools to do the art work. Love it!

Too much writing, not enough patterns.

There are clear instructions in this book with some lovely ideas. It has filled me with enthusiasm for trying out some of the designs.

Non è un libro da cui imparare la tecnica, dato che fa riferimento alla tradizione cinese in cui la tecnica si impara non dai libri (quindi non spiega quasi nulla e non offre modelli facilmente ricalcabili). Interessante comunque in sé

J'y ai trouvé de bonnes explications pour, pas à pas, m'initier à cette pratique et l' introduction est intéressante. Bonnes illustrations.
