Nice tone.
Nice tone. Good value for money. The action is a little harder than I'd like, but after a few weeks of playing I'm accustomed to it. Very happy with the purchase.

Lovely instrument, just needed a bit of work
Lovely looking instrument. Very playable, nice sound, with a decent amount of volume and sustain. Arrived set up with a low action and intonation spot on. Minus one star due to some high frets which meant some notes above the 12th fret couldn't be sounded. The bridge is positionable but not height-adjustable, so I had to file down the 13th and 15th frets a bit. Just a niggle really - you don't play a mandolin much above the 12th fret anyway. Overall, a very nice instrument.

Ashbury mandolin a31w style
lovely instrument. Nice action and full sound. Easy to hold and so much nicer to look at than the American style mandolins...in my opinion .
