An entertaining read
I like the first book very much, the one where we met Tara and was happy to get hold of this one.The title and cover is clever, her surname is Sharp, and the tale involves bikers and competition and sharp turns in a race.Tara works as a private investigator, and is now employed by a bordello madam and for another case, the owner of a motorcycle racing team. She can see auras, and the madam needs to find out why someone is placing dead animals on the doorstep and sending threatening text messages. Perhaps Tara can see if one of her girls is disgruntled. The racing team owner has had various small things go wrong and is worried that things might go really wrong before an important competition.Tara met a waif and got herself a weird narcoleptic bodyguard in the first book, and they turn up again in this one, as does the attractive but married man she avoids. There is a dead body, Tara and a racer both face mortal danger, the local drug dealer is peripherally involved but all ends well,

Another good one
The second book featuring Tara Sharp, a young woman who has the ability to see peoples auras. She uses this talent to help clients determine if they are in danger or just being paranoid. I enjoyed this book because it included characters introduced in Too Sharp & added others. Some bad & some good. Lots of suspense, some romance and even some humor. A great read, don’t miss it.NickTheMoose

An aura-reading PI and her motley crew...
This book has a number of quirky characters, along with action and suspense. When I came upon the occasional Australian word that I couldn't figure out by context, I Googled it -- problem solved. Tara has a good heart and welcomes homeless friends to crash in her apartment on her parents' property. I learned a bit about the reading of auras. I thought it was a clever twist to the usual female PI. No one can call Tara usual or ordinary. This book held my interest throughout. The one thing I didn't like about the book was the frequent "F" Bombs. I realize that Tara and her friends could be expected to use language that my friends and I don't use, so I just continued reading. If you enjoy off beat characters along with action and suspense, this is the book for you.

Omg!
I just read the first two books, Sharp Shooter and Sharp Turn!!! It is now almost three am, and these books were superb, so I had to read them right away! I started them around 10:30 pm, such good stories, love Tara and all she can and does do...couldn't stop reading. Cool characters, and weird also...but it all works!

Love this series
This series gets better and better. Again Tara is on a roll, investigating and taking Wal, and Cass, along for the ride. Very enjoyable storyline, and great character development. Can't wait for the next one!

Great fun!
Engaging story with many twists and turns. I can't claim to have understood all the Aussie slang, nor to have recognized all Aussie product references, but that's a minor quibble.Unlike many current issues on Kindle, this one is quite well produced, and I don't recall having found any errors in grammar or spelling. Sadly, that seems these days to be high praise on Kindle. The title character is interesting, with a bagful of issues to overcome, and reminds me a bit of Jordan, in "Crossing Jordan", at least in her headstrong and impulsive nature.

Wonderful Second Outing
This quirky character is beginning to grow on me. She plays it straight: keeping her word to the best of her ability with everyone, friend and foe alike, and that makes her life quite complex. I actually am looking forward to book 3 in the series.

Entertaining fluff
Well written and engaging. Great beach or holiday read. That said ......Some charachers are too 'quirky' appearing more cartoon like or farcical. Lead ms sharp makes some unfathomable decisions presented as logical. Does not do some very obvious actions.Free kindle book, not sure if i will go for seris. Not funny for a comedy thriller, not gritty enough for a thriller, not a cosy thriller...... character is an investigator with no investigating skills.Saved by the quality of writing, backing characters need to be more believeable. Undemanding and for me forgettable.

OK detective story. A bit odd but a different take on a standard plotline
Tara Sharp is a sort of psychic detective in that she can read people's auras, although her interpretation sometimes needs a bit of work. This was a well crafted detective story but there are quite a few holes in the plot and far, far too many characters for comfort.

Different is good
I was surprised to enjoy this book, the cover made me think it would be too chick flick to enjoy, but good character writing, little snippets of supporting cast to round out the life had me interested, and story far better than I had assumed, loved the setting.

Turn
Tara Sharp is named well, she IS sharp! Smart and cheeky, tough as nails but a softy at heart. This story brings you into the world of motorcycling and prostitution, although not together. Great characters, perfect by little drama. Really enjoyed this "down under" mystery tale.
