Mother Sheep Organics Organic Wool Toddler and Kids Pillow, Travel Pillow, 14x19

This is a very high quality pillow. I truly appreciate that it is made with organic materials. I did a lot of research on pillow materials before deciding to purchase these. There are so many positives to wool... It naturally wicks moisture (most of us sweat in our sleep), regulates your body temperature, and is antimicrobial. Unlike with standard polyester materials, dust mites aren't a fan of wool. As someone with allergies, this is very important to me. Wool is also fire resistant, so nasty flame retardants aren't necessary! The organic cotton pillow case for this is beautifully made and is very soft. I still put an extra pillow case over it to protect it.The loft does go down a little with time as the wool compacts, but you can easily puff it up again by smacking the sides. I do wish that the toddler version offered a zipper like the adult pillow so that the wool can be removed and fluffed up by hand. I own both the toddler and the adult versions of this pillow. The toddler one is quite a bit more flat, but that is likely better for a toddler's neck. I understand that people are very particular about how their pillows feel - I like my pillows firm and I am a side sleeper, so these pillow have been wonderful for me. This toddler version is a great size for travel as well.Lastly, I will note that the wool does have a particular scent as others have mentioned. I happen to not mind it and it definitely grew on me. When I ordered my second pillow, I left it outside in the sun for a few days (do NOT leave it out in the rain and get the wool wet!). That really helped air out the scent if you are sensitive to the smell. Regardless, it definitely dissipates with time.All in all, I am very pleased with these pillows and will continue to purchase them in the future!

This is a quality product! The company is wonderful to deal with. The item arrived from Amazon in a sealed bag. However after removing the zipper pillowcase I noticed the tag on the pillow was very faded. I read reviews and saw someone else had a similar concern. I contacted the company. They replied immediately (although the response ended up in junk mail-always check there before criticizing a company for not responding) They asked me to send a picture and then said that it did not look right and they would send me one free of charge. It arrived quickly and the tag looked new. The pillow is larger than another toddler wool one I have but that is great! My little one can use one first and then the other when he is a little older! There was no smell and it feels soft and comfortable! I highly recommend the pillow and Mother Sheep Organics!

I did a lot of research on safe, chemical-free pillows for toddlers and ultimately selected this one. I'm extremely happy with the purchase and my son has loved sleeping on it the past two weeks. It's a great size for toddlers and has the perfect amount of fluff. It arrived a bit flat from the packaging, but I put it in the dryer for a few minutes and it was perfect. So far it has held its shape really well - there are no indent marks and it hasn't become flat at all. I'm also a big fan of the cover that comes with the pillow. It's very thick (almost quilted) and will do a great job of protecting the pillow. I'm still planning to order a separate pillowcase (the company is coming out with one in the next few months), but in the meantime, my son is perfectly content sleeping on the cover that comes with the pillow. I would also give the company an A+ for customer service. I emailed a few questions before buying the pillow and received a thorough response back within a couple of hours.

Not even two years after purchase with minimal use and careful maintenance, this pillow is lumpy...Really, the lumpiness was obvious by the first anniversary of purchase. I’ll leave the review I wrote of my initial impression, but I’m shopping for a replacement right now and feeling foolish for spending so much money and for reviewing this pillow before real use…Wow! Actually just arrived and we are so impressed. High quality fabric with a thick removable protective cover. Perfect level of firmness for our toddler, who has rejected all other pillows until five minutes ago...She tested it when we unboxed it and immediately brought it to her bed on her own!

I bought this pillow for my 2 year old daughter as her first pillow. It was important to me for it to be made of all natural ingredients, and supportive but still comfortable. I had purchased another pillow that had an organic cotton cover, but when I got it in the mail I realized I had forgot to check what the fill was. It turned out to be a poly fill. It seemed fluffy but not really supportive. It was slippery on the inside and seemed like it would heat up when used. Having experienced poly pillows myself, I didn’t want my toddler to sleep on them. I find them pretty uncomfortable, they flatten and collect dust mites. This pillow was exactly what I was looking for. High quality construction, comfortable, and organic materials that don’t harbor dust mites. I highly recommend this product.

I wouldn't say this is the absolute comfiest pillow, but I like that it is naturally flame & moisture resistant using only natural materials. The cover for the pillow is nice and thick, incredible quality. The only downside is I haven't been able to find a proper pillow cover that fits this pillow without packing it in and making the pillow hard & uncomfortable. But no matter, the cover it comes with is so nice, I think we'll do fine without an extra cover.
