Well built and works as advertised.
I purchased this to go with the JKS-1AEDV Video Door Phone. All components are well built and easy to physically install. All components are mounted with brackets to which the main components are attached, greatly simplifying the mounting and reducing the chances of damaging the main components during installation. My installation was simplified by using this as a replacement for an old NuTone audio intercom that failed. I was able to reuse all of the wiring that had been run for that.Both audio and video quality are great.One factor in deciding to use the Aiphone system is that it supports direct audio communication between the master and the sub-master station, allowing it to be used as both a front door video phone and an internal intercom.

Not impressed or happy
Only worked for a few months. Had to send it back to Aiphone out in Washington to have them fix it but in the meantime I needed to buy a new one. SO, this one sits in a box supposedly fixed but no way to know for sure unless I hook it up and try it out. Which is not an easy thing to do.
