My daughter was so excited to get a mermaid tail. We liked the price point of this product and it came quickly. Unfortunately, it ripped on the first day, after just two hours of use. I now understand why other people purchase mermaid tails that come with reinforced corners. Yes, you'll pay $70 at FinFun (for the tail skin plus the monofin) but you might be able to get a season or two out of the more expensive product.
