Amazon Basics PAR20 LED Light Bulb, 50 Watt Equivalent, Energy Efficient 7W, E26 Standard Base, Warm White 3000K, Dimmable, 10,000 Hour Lifetime , 6-Pack

We sure wanted these LED lights to work in our Broan range hood…and they did…until we wanted to turn it off. Turns out our Broan range hood is not compatible with LED lights. They will turn to high, medium, and low, but they don’t turn off. I’m uncertain of the Broan switch design since I didn’t want to take it all apart but I’m guessing there must be a relay that won’t switch unless there’s enough current going through it. It would not switch off and the lights remained on just at a dimmer setting. I put a voltmeter on it and saw there was still 97V AC still going to the lights. The only way to get them to turn off was to remove both bulbs or put in one halogen bulb. Hmmm…a quick hit of the internet now knowing the right things to search for and I found a Broan page stating this very issue. The solution? Use halogen bulbs. It’s funny how easy it is to find something on the internet once you know the problem. Sure wish I had found that BEFORE ordering the lights, but that’s how it goes. Hindsight is always 20-20.I rated these lights 5 stars because it is not Amazon’s fault the Broan range hood won’t work with them. We loved the light output. We loved the idea of using less electricity. We loved the idea of so much less heat being generated by them. They are 5 stars. And we love free returns for situations like this. The halogens I had to order are working perfectly.

I used to use Philips Par20 and have had a difficult time finding them. I began using other off brand par20s and have been disappointed by all of them until I installed these. The bulbs itself seem to be made well and after installing them I was happy with the white bright light it produces. I will see how it holds up with time.

I found these lights and thought they’d go well to upgrade/fix current lighting in a home I bought. They worked on the high but not on the low light setting in my old hood vent. It turns out, since they’re LED, you have to first get them going on high and then quickly switch them to low before they fully turn off. It’s just a new light in an old system. I suppose I could take it apart and upgrade the switch, but that’s a lot more hassle for a minor inconvenience ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Nice directional bulbs that have a very long lifespan, estimated at 10,000 hours. I used these to replace the conventional (spherical) bulbs in the hanging lamp over my kitchen table. The result was that the light was directed directly down, rather than everywhere, illuminating the walls and ceiling.Sometimes you want light just oriented in one direction, in this case downward. This was the perfect bulb choice since if fully illuminated the table, nothing else (for the most part). It worked perfectly.The bulbs are of good quality, and there are six in this set.Very happy with these. Great product. Bright. Long lasting. Durable. I am definitely buying these from now on instead of the pricier options out there. I’m glad I decided to try these. Now I’m waiting for the old bulbs to burn out so I can replace all my bulbs with these.

I bought a six-pack of these ‘Daylight (5000°k)’ bulbs to replace the LED PAR-30 shorties I was using above my Kitchen island. I have three one-lamp pendants; plus one above my sink. Out of the four utilized, one has ‘burned out’ or whatever LEDs do when they die. A faint glow is all that is detectable.so, (on 08.Oct.2023) a 25% failure rate since the day these were installed (01.Feb.2023).The illumination was as expected, albeit low for the use. The cinching features here were the “9-year” average life expectancy plus the ‘dimmable’ characteristic.So what do I do? buy another six-pack (more lumens if I can find that as an option); or bail and find another brand that is, in fact, made by a different source/manufacturer?quandary…

Best ones I've found to date. I had problems with previoos bulbs not having enough solder at the contact point or having too much solder on the side that I had to file off to get them into the socket.These are great. P÷fect about of solder on each one. They also have a slightly smaller bulb width, which makes it much easier to grip to screw them into & out of the sockets.

The media could not be loaded. Not well made. Longevity is a myth. Bought 6 of these April 2023. Each bulb is supposed to have 10,000 hours of use. One year three months later they are turning yellow, flickering and going out. I have these lights on about three hours a day on average. There is no way these should be going out after such a short time. Got these because they promised 10,000 hours. Was duped.

I am using these to replace the warm light in my kitchen ceiling flood lights that shine over the counter. Daylight is much better than warm light. Excellent value for six bulbs.

These bulbs were for my my range hood fan and they are a perfect fit and the light is bright and dimmable so all around perfect!
