Best shoe mount I have found!
If you are in the market for a shoe mount ball head, look no further.These puppies are solid and also can be used on a light stand if you remove the shoe mount adapter with a flat head screwdriver. Unlike ALL the other shoe mounts I have used this one does not fall apart or feel flimsy.

Reminds me again how professional gear is the best solution
One of the few products i really trust manufactured in Italy. Not even a Ferrari or Lambo would qualify, but Manfrotto is always my best choice. This item is no exception. No attention to detail, design and build quality is spared. Yes, it's pricey, but there's no compromise required in its operation to justify the purchase of a cheaper, inferior substitute. And, there are many, mostly Chinese in origin. Not one of the substitutes comes close to operability and reliability of field operation. So, when i'm in my right senses, i usually end up with a Manfrotto product. This item is a perfect example of getting the job done right the first time.
