I started taking this a few months ago to help with anxiety. Only made it worse, caused insomnia, made me gain about 15 pounds, and my periods became significantly heavier. If you do some research, you'll find that holy basil has been found to boost testosterone levels, so it'll likely mess with your hormones, as it did with mine. I wish I would have put two and two together much sooner. The only thing it did do was make my skin more clear. Everyone is different, but take caution and do your research with any and all supplements!

I've had a great deal of stress over the last two years--My mother passed away and a year later I lost my only sibling. I quite my job, sold my house and moved to a place I'd never lived before. After taking Holy Basil, I feel a sense of calm and peace. It has helped me deal with the stress and emotional upheaval without the side affects of anti-depressants and sedatives.

Holy Basil is my go to pill to help me sleep through the night, level my mood, and literally keep me sane. I started taking it about 2 years ago, when I began having pre-menopausal mood swings, sadness and inability to stay asleep at night: 2 AM came and bing, my eyelids would open, for no reason! Since I started taking these pills, I became myself again. I tried other brands of Holy Basil, but Gaia seems to work the best.

Honestly, one of the best products I've ever tried. It works wonders for regulating adrenal health. Unlike pills like Xanax (Alprazolam), which just numb you to the anxiety, Holy Basil Leaf actually allows you to stay cognizant enough to thoughtfully work through your problems and handle your anxiety/stress head-on. I highly recommend this product and already have purchased several bottles for family and friends, who have told me that it works well for them as well.

Holy Basil has really helped me with mood and sleep. I usually take one or two in the evening if I need a good night's sleep and it helps the following day by keeping my mood calm and unstressed, regardless of what I have planned for the day. My daughter (in college) has also tried it and it helps her deal with the stress of exams.

I swear by Gaia holy basil. I have ptsd and anxiety issues. I have been on anti depressants and they never did the job except make me feel like a tin can. Its almost like this stuff stops the over production of anxiety and fear causing brain chemicals without making you feel like a shell. By no means do I mean not go to the doctor but this may help you like it helped me.

Love love love these! I take them only at night, since they do make me tired/sleepy during the day. But I take 1 at night, and I sleep great, wake up feeling more rested, and notice the benefits of lower stress all throughout the following day. I am calmer, don't let things get to me, and an odd, but welcome side effect - I laugh out loud so much now! Laughing is good for you :)I have taken other versions, but this seems to definitely be the best quality I have tried. And since I only take 1 at night (which is all I need) it's affordable.

I take this in conjunction with Gaia ashwagandha and Gaia adrenal support to treat severe adrenal fatigue. Was feeling better within a couple days.
