Very enjoyable reading. I am an animation buff, especially classic animation from Warner Brothers, MGM and others. Love Samerdyke's evaluations and interpretations of the action taking place on screen. It is missing some of my favorite cartoons but with as much classic animation as is out there the book would have had to be 5 times longer. I would read about a particular cartoon and then watch it to see his description first hand. Most often I did agree and recognized the perspective of the author.
