Bandai Hobby MSV Strike Rouge + IWSP Gundam Seed Model Kit (1/144 Scale)

Firstly I'd like to say that this model was surprisingly delivered to me a two weeks before the estimated delivery date. Which I am very happy about. The Model Kit box seemed like it was pushed around a lot but there were no major damages to the box upon delivery. The model itself is very easy to put together and takes less time than other standard HG gundam seed/destiny model kits which take around 4 - 5 hours to fully build. Be very aware that this Strike Rouge is a light pin color and the chest piece a redish pinkish color. This also comes with IWSP pack which can be removed and put on the regular strike gundam. (If you have the Perfect Strike Gundam HG you can remove the Aile pack on the Perfect Strike and put on the IWSP pack instead). I love this strike rouge and now it comes along side the strike family gundams (Strike Freedom , Perfect Strike and now Strike Rouge IWSP pack). For anyone that is a Gundam Seed/Destiny Fan I do highly recommend you pick this up it is worth it. (And if pink bothers you like I said you can detach its pack and put it on regular strike)

The kit is a bit old, but theiwsp striker pack is lovely.

The HG Strike Gundam is one that many Gunpla builders love to build again and again since there are many different variations in the Build Strike, Strike Rouge, Strike E, Star Strike, etc. All of these HGs are pretty much based on the HG Strike Revive (pretty sure). This particular model kit is based on a very old technology with many color inaccurate parts. Since there’s even a HG Strike Rouge Revive, this model kit is outdated. The grey is missing on the shoulders and chest, the white is missing from the torso and antennas, and the Gatling Shield is pretty much plain red. There are more minor color inaccuracies but you get the point. For range of movement, the shoulders are the worst, with straight pegs. The hips also have ball joints. The arms can also only go 90 degrees.Despite these flaws, I had fun building this model kit and going the extra mile to paint in all the color correctly with acrylic paint markers. I think that this is a fun challenge that can look really well in the end if you’re willing to put in the work. You’d need masking tape too. These sorts of old kits are also fun to try to do battle damage on, as I’ve done with my kit. Besides that, I’m not sure - but I think this is the only kit that includes an HG IWSP pack? I’m not sure one existed at all. I wanted a HG IWSP Pack, so I got this model kit. If you’re the same way, I recommend to get it. The Pack and Gatling Shield are great. only the shield needs painted. The pack looks great with the included stickers and just minor panel lining and gray paint on the white sensors if you care. Speaking of stickers, you also get a few decals which is great. The way the runners are set up in the box is interesting though - all of the IWSP components are laid out in their own runner labeled IWSP: that’s the Gatling Shield, the two swords, the beam boomerang + effect, and the whole backpack. also a mini runner for the big wings. This means that either the whole IWSP setup was sold as it’s own accessory pack or that it was included in other kits. I’m curious to know the answer to this. I’m also curious to know if there was an updated version of the HG IWSP setup available or if this was it. Either way, I’m happy with the result. Straight-builders will want to pass this buy, custom-builders might want this for the backpack, and painters will have a great finished result with a lot of accessories. You get two swords + two shields + a gun + the guns on the backpack + the beam boomerang w/ Gatling. No matter the age, the shape and design of the strike is great, and being able to load it up like this straight out of box with everything included, no modifications - is great. You’ll need that paint though for the full effect though.

Fantastic! Well worth the weight, but its absolutely imperative you have the SEED paint marker kit. Without it the gundam is about 1 3/5

Was excited to get this model but they shipped the damn thing in a PAPER package and in transit the box was crushed.Thankfully the kit contents are okay but im not happy with the carelessness that was used in the shipping process

Love it cant wait to customize it

It’s so pink. It’s two different shades of pink. Also needs gray paint. Stickers for the eyes and the rest are for the back pack. I’m done many no grades and many high grades. This feels like a combo of no grade and HG. Not very good at posing but the feel are so big and the joints so stiff it stands up well. If a mint green GM was a slightly annoying then thinking this is white with a little pink is going to anger you to no end. It’s Overtly pink.

It was my second gunpla and I really liked to build it !

La figura está bien pero no es tan detallado como en la imagen, los detalles en negro del pecho y los hombros no los tiene. En el escudo con ametralladora tampoco aparece de ese como, las partes blancas no lo son, son ligeramente rosas. Creo que con un costó menor si vale la pena.

Come tutta la serie Gunpla di Gundam anche lo Strike Rouge è perfetto: facile da montare e chiare le istruzioni.
