This might be as simple as silver polish but it works on getting the powder burns of the cylinder on the revolvers and pistols after having been fired. Nothing else works like this does. It takes some elbow grease but it cleans nicely.

I've been trying to get the burn rings off my stainless steel revolver for a few weeks using several kinds of gun oils and cleaners but it just would not come off so I ordered this cloth.. ONE wipe and the burn rings started coming off! I cut about a 1 inch square off the sheet and cleaned all the burn marks off my cylinder with that small piece leaving me with PLENTY left over to clean many more times after range sessions. I HIGHLY Recommend this for getting rid of cylinder burn rings and even getting rid of the lead and carbon that builds up around the forcing cone and barrel. Worked like a charm. I just lightly rubbed until it was all gone! REMINDER - NOT FOR USE on BLUED GUNS. STAINLESS ONLY. If you have burn rings that you want gone this is it! my cylinder looks factory new now thanks to this cloth. Im glad I came across this. A must have!

Great product - works beautifully - priced very reasonably. Perfect for my stainless steel revolvers.

Works well but does not seem to last long. Mine got all black after one use and started falling apart at the edges after a couple of uses. Does the job though.

This removes all lead deposits and stains and makes SS guns shine like nickle plating.

I tried Ballistol, G96, WD 40, brake cleaner, barely made a dent in carbon deposits on 686. This took it off with little effort!! I finished it off with Flitz polish and microfiber.I don't know why people are complaining about the smell. I could smell it on the package before I opened it and I found it quite pleasant - my wife agreed. Incidentally I love the smell of Ballistol, which some people hate.

Ok, this cloth does it's job really well. Removes powder and lead fouling from stainless like magic. A little goes a long, long way. I see this lasting for a very long time. Well worth the $$$. My SS revolver looks like it's never been fired after cleaning and polishing with this cloth.

I just tried the cloth I bought today. I immediatelly ordered another 3. The cloth cleaned gun parts that no solvent could clean. After clearning the action with multiple solvents I tried the cloth with some doubt only to find that it truly removed fouling that no solvent could remove. I also used it to clean the barrel after cleaning it with normal solvents. I was amazed by how much more fouling it removed, even after I thought the barrel was clean. I also used it to polish the stainless steel receiver of my gun. It almost returned it to its new condition. I am truly amazed. The smell of the cloth is not too bad at al. Actully, it is much better than the smell of many of the solvents we use. From now on I will use the cloth whenever I clean my guns. It truly cleans things that no other solvent could clean. Some of the reviews indicated that it can remove gun bluing, so I will keep it away from my blued guns (except for when I'll use it to clean the barrels only). Top product.Update: I am reducing the stars to 4 as I've just found a similar cloth (proshot) that is just as good, bigger in size and cheaper at a local store. The BC is good but Amazon is over pricing it. While I was planning to re-buy or, but I believe I will buy the other cloth from my local store instead. I get more cleaning/polishing cloth for a lower price.
