Great floor lamp for a small space. Wanted a table but it wouldn't fit. This was a great find.

The good: heavy stable base, thick, sturdy metal that looks great; not a gaudy fake looking brass, but a classy looking brass. Wood table is solid, doesn't wobble, will support reasonable weight, and looks pretty good, like real wood. The shade is better than I thought: nice MCM style, but I will replace it with a custom made shade.The bad: mine came with the wood slightly out of line with the metal ring around it in about 1/4 of the diameter. The cord is so stiff that it doesn't lay flat (or even unkink) on the floor and the lightweight plastic touch switch won't lay flat as a result. You'd have to nail it down, or maybe tape it down, to get it to lay flat. As it is, it is always somewhat sideways in regard to the floor (it kind of hovers at an angle in the air) so you have to push and hold it down with your foot before you can click it on and off. The good news is that you can just buy a remote controlled LED light and use the remote to turn it off and on and simply leave the light on all the time so you never have to mess with the switch.Overall, for the price, it's a good lamp. I've had lamps over $200 that weren't as nice in finish, sturdiness, materials, etc.

The table lamp is great

Nice lamp but the shade arrived a little damaged . It’s different and I like it!!

I think this is a really good bang for your buck. A toddler could pull this down fairly easy so if you're in that situation keep that in mind. The lamp also only turns on with a foot pedal. The cord is very nice and long.

I have the table in our Family Room. It's perfect, in addition to adding light in a corner, to have extra room for snacks, etc. It's a really nice lamp/table.

It was missing a piece or non matching pieces were sent and could not be installed. If it stood up would have been a great lamp.

Purchased this to replace another standing lamp/table that was on it's last legs. Overall, I'm pleased with the purchase. Here's the pros/cons from my viewpoint depending upon what you're looking for:Pros:- Good looking. I was worried that the wood finish on the table would look cheap (my last one had a glass table), but the whole thing has a very quality look and feel.- Like the floor button for turning off/on vs. having to reach up under the shade to do so.Minor cons:- Assembly: This should be relatively easy to put together, it's just screwing the pieces together. But, in my case when I screwed the first piece in it screwed in lopsided and wouldn't let me unscrew it to try lining it up better. Also, a screw had fallen out of the piece attached to the table - which I eventually found at the bottom of the box in all the packaging. It took me well over an hour to put together what I think would normally have been about a 15 minute job if the one piece had a better sockets for screwing in. Think this may have been a unique problem to mine as noone else complained about it.Overall: I like it now that it is together, use it everyday and provides a good value for a functional quality piece.
