7th Gen case. Great for VERY large hands.
I bought this case solely because it has a handstrap on it. I like to read (and advance pages) one handed. The strap is offset slightly. It appears to be geared for people holding their kindle in their right hand. In my right hand I can advance pages normally. Unfortunately, I prefer to read left handed. So with the kindle in my left hand, my fingers BARELY in the strap, I am able to advance the page about half the time. The other half, I back up a page since the left side of the screen is for turning back. All that being said, I have large hands. I wear a men's size M or L glove during the winter since most women's gloves don't fit. This should have two staps. Closer to edges. One for left and one for right handed reading. The case seems sturdy and the kindle fits perfectly. For $13 it's a decent case. It has the auto on off magnet, but I find it useless. The handstrap hits the screen before the magnet makes contact so it highlights instead of turning off. I just turn it off myself. No biggie there. Not sure if I'm going to keep it or keep looking.

I liked the idea..
I like this case. I was able to buy it for 8.99. It looks and feels high quality. It fits the 7th Gen Kindle perfectly. I did have a few issues. It showed up with a little glue on it. I cant get it off, but its not much so it only bothers me a little. The thing that really bothered me was the frame. To fit snugly to the kindle it has a metal frame wrapped in fake leather and other fabric. At the bottom near the power button, part of the frame had poked through the pleather. I used some wire clippers to cut it down. The last thing I would like to address is the strap. It is a really good idea, but the idea was better than the actual result. I have giant hands and can reach my fingers inside it in a secure way while being able to touch the screen with my thumb, but just barely. My girlfriend has much smaller hands and cannot. If they had two, one on each side it would have worked much better. Overall the quality seems good enough to keep once I removed the sharp metal piece.

I like the features this one includes
I ordered this along side my 6th generation Kindle. I like the features this one includes, The strap to keep it closed, the small strap for my hand, the build quality seems good for the price point. No complaints. I have big hads I was concerned it would not fit my hands, it works great. Very comfortable to hold one handed. The case does not add too much bulk to my Kindle especially when one balances the size with the level of protection it offers. I like this case. I was a bit concerned given the price, I am glad I ordered it. .

Amazing price for a great case with a strap!
Very happy with this case for my Kindle Basic (7th Gen)! My wife has a Fintie Kindle Basic 7th Gen SmartShell Case which is thinner, has a harder exterior which is nice and is more expensive. What I particularly prefer about this case though is the strap on the back (when open) that you put your hand through so you don't have to 'hold' the Kindle, which I find starts to cramp my hand. I find the closure magnet SLIGHTLY looser on this case than I would prefer. Although I don't believe this case has an auto-on feature (which I actually prefer), sometimes it does seem to turn on when I open it, I haven't figured out why yet. Protects the Kindle well, for the price, this one can't be beat as far as I am concerned! (NOTE: I am not an Amazon Vine member, far from it, and PAY for everything I review, and review items because they are WORTHY of review!)

Nice fit and lightweight
The reader fits nicely into the cover. I read on the train to and from work and the kindle with cover fit nicely into my purse. I also prefer the black color. I had tried a red cover and found it distracting - might be different with a larger reader. The black cover seems like an extension of the reader is is not so distracting.

Great addition to my Kindle
This a REALLY nice cover. It's made of soft leather, stitched very well, is very affordable and feels great when holding it in your hand reading. My kindle fits perfectly (nice snug fit) and I like the elastic strap that holds it open (flipped back) while you're reading and also really like the elastic strap that you can slide a few fingers into so you can easily hold it in one hand (right or left) while you're reading. I give it 5 stars for quality, affordability and function!

cutting the hole is not that easy, and it definitely does not look like a ...
I purchased this case at the same time as the kindle voyage reader, because it was advertised to fit the voyage. Well, it fits it. However, it is impossible to turn the voyage off and on button, located on the back of the kindle, simply because there is no cutout to reach the button. I tried hard to press the button through the case, but never succeeded. I finally cut a hole into the case my self, and it works. However, cutting the hole is not that easy, and it definitely does not look like a professional job.

Amazon Kindle Reader Case (7th Gen)
Top notch Kindle Reader cover. Why? See that that little black vertical strip on the side? Yes...it is a small handle that you slip your palm into so you can hold onto your reader. This cover is durable and better than the previous one I owned. Most reader lights clip right onto this. It also closes with a strap band and keeps the screen from getting scratched unnecessarily. I recommend this case highly for durability and price.
