Sylvan Wellness Red Yeast Rice, 120 Count

My total cholesterol has ranged between about 210 and 230 my entire life with the exception of one blood test about 30 years ago when it was 194. I've taken several kinds of Red Yeast Rice with no effect on blood test results. My current MD recommended Sylvan as the purist product on the market. I took a blood test in December 2013 and sure enough my total cholesterol was 220... but that was before I started taking 1200 mg of Sylvan twice daily. I just had a follow up test after 3 months on Sylvan and the results were astounding. Total cholesterol down to 171, HDLs up significantly, LDLs down significantly... essentially, every number moved dramatically in the right direction. I will be doing another follow-up test in 3 months to confirm but as of this date I'm more than impressed.

As described, but I learned they may mess with your liver levels. Mine got a little high while taking these, so as cliche as it sounds, keep an eye on your blood tests. I'm a 36 yr old man, and RYR made me look like an 80 year old alcoholic.

This stuff is the real deal. My total cholesterol was 300. I restricted my dairy intake and took two (2) of these twice a day for two months. My total cholesterol is now 195! No statin drugs for me - I am very happy with this product. Being able to subscribe so that I get a bottle every month means I will never run out - even better.

After reading an article in a medical journal about the effectiveness of Red Yeast Rice in cutting cholesterol, my doctor and I decided to give this stuff a shot. It reduced my marginally high cholesterol down to good levels all around. I'm a believer.

It's good for someone who can't take statins.

I have used this product for quite some time, so I was happy to find it available through Amazon! It does help my cholesterol numbers. And I prefer a natural product. I won't take statins!
