Super bass!!
I have a great set of earbuds for my Walkman MP3 player, but the foam pads on it were wearing out and started to rip apart. I was then using those earbuds without any pads and the music was totally lacking in power and the deep, rich bass that I so loved was virtually gone. I also had to turn up the volume on the player much higher than I would normally have it set at to get the same amount of volume. I began thinking that those foam pads were what my my music sound so great. I didn't know if you could buy those replacement pads anywhere (I've never seen them in stores) so I decided to look for them on Amazon. I was so very happy that there were several foam pad sets available. I bought this paticular set and it arrived quite quickly. I put a pair on my earbuds and what a difference!!! I got my deep bass response and overall dynamics back again!!! I was also able to turn the volume down again to the level that I used to have it on. If you have a pair of ear buds that do not have foam pads (and most of them that you buy today do not) then get a set of these pads and put them on your earbuds. You'll be amazed at the incredible improvement in sound quality!!! This is definitely a worthwhile purchase and for such a low price, you realy can't go wrong.

Does the job
For the price, it works. If you are picky, then you will note these are not as padded as the OEMs. So while I could comfortably rest my head on the pillows with the headphones on with the OEMs, these hurt my ears a little. Regular usage however won't show that kind of a subtle difference. It feels like the same thing standing up or sitting down or running or whatever. I sometimes fall asleep with the headphones on, and I noticed it only then. Also, when the sound is at the max, the quality doesn't come through as well as the OEMs. Once again, during regular usage, and most songs (even if the volume is max), you can't really notice the difference. Once in a great while, you'll notice it. So, for all practical sense and purposes, I think it's a great replacement. With the extra pairs, I rather be able to keep replacing and keeping fresh pads on, then using the same OEM pads for months, or, yuck, years.

These pads made my old earbuds usable again
This is an item that I really didn't think I would find, but I am glad I tried. These replacement foam pads for mostly the old style earbuds breathed a new life into an old set that I have. I always liked the earbuds but using them without pads on them hurt the inside of my ears after just a few minutes of use. The buds have a great sound and came with a Sony Discman that I once had, so I decided to try to find some pads for them. Naturally I went to Amazon's site and did a search in electronics. The search returned all kinds of replacements for exact models of buds, so I kept scrolling through the results until I came upon the ones that I am reviewing. Actually when I found these, I also found several other similar products, but they were for higher quantities, and I did not need that many, so I bought the smaller package. The hole in these pads are so small that I thought I was going to damage them trying to put them on, but with a little persuasion they finally slid on and they fit perfectly. They put some new life into my old earbuds that I would never throw away, because they sound so great. When in doubt, look on Amazon.

Love these pads, inexpensive and work great
I use these on Apple's ear plugs which did not come with pads and were sitting loose in my ears. These these pads on, the earplug fits my ears snugly and very comfortable. It does take a bit of work to fit the pads over the earplugs as they fit tight - I use the method from one of the reviewer and made the job a lot easier.

Getting More Difficult to Find These
Used to be you could go into a Walmart, Best Buy or Radio Shack and buy a nice pair of replacement foam pads. No more, guess they'd rather sell you a new pair of buds than just the foam covers.I got these because the description said they were thick enough to reduce vibrations. Well, I don't know about that, I guess that's a bit subjective. These are not as thick as the one's I like, but I haven't been able to find them. They aren't as thin as the ones used on airplanes and will suffice if you aren't as picky as I am. I'm still looking for the thick type pads that came on my Audio Technica Titanium Buds, but are still very decent.

Perfect Replacement - Perfect Fit!
The earbud pad quality was, in my opinion, top notch! They were a perfect fit for my Koss buds (model unknown). They were a bit difficult to stretch over the buds, but after browsing some of the reviews, and exercising a bit of patience, I was able to get them on and position them as needed. To my surprise, they didn't tear, and I wasn't gentle. Fingernails may cut them while trying to stretch them over the buds, so that should be a consideration. That said, they were more comfortable and stayed in position in my ears much better than the old pads. I hesitated at buying these after reading some of the negative reviews, but am glad I bought them now!

Adequate
The earbud covers are made from a very light weight inexpensive material and the center holes are small, so that they tear easily when trying to put them on. I did tear a few of them, but I got them on and thay seem to work OK. For the price, they are functional. I'll have to see how long they actually last with more usage.

Cheap but Durable
I ordered these earbud earpad replacements because (1) the white earbuds don't fit in my apparently awkwardly shaped earholes (is that what they're called) and (2) the earpads that came with my earbuds kept falling off when I pulled them out of my coat pocket or bag. These were obviously very inexpensive and come with enough that you could build a small tower to scare off any miniature creatures that might be in your vicinity. The earpads are durable and pretty easy to put on to your earbuds. I recommend folding them in half and then just putting them on the earbud one small bit at a time to avoid tearing them. Although that's really not a big deal because you could just order 10 more for practically nothing. Although then you wouldn't have a tower to fend off those attacking dust mites. Your call.
