Working for a european car dealer, brake fluid replacement is pretty much a standard service. Something thats recommended doing every 2 years reguardless of mileage. I personally dont see caliper issues with the european vehicles and would have to say its because of having the fluid replaced every 2 years. During my years with the domestic car makes, I did from time to time see a caliper go bad. You have to figure that brake fluid is designed to absorb moisture to help keep lines and other important parts of your brake system from rusting out....on the inside of the part that is. Once the fluid gets to be too contaminated, then problems are on the horizon. This fluid seems to be pretty good for DOT3 applications. Just make sure you purchase the correct fluid type for your vehicle. Many times it is noted on top of the cap on the master cylinder.

this worked fine for bleeding the brakes on a few caliper swaps on a daily driver - so far seems like a firm fluid no issues
