Easy on the body.
I've only used it once, but I'm really impressed. It may be small and lightweight, but it really did the job. I don't have a lot of arm strength, but handling this was a breeze. I used it on ground that hasn't been used for anything but pasture and it dug right in. Had to stop a couple of times to remove tough weed roots from the tines, but they came right out. Actually, it performs better than my big tiller did. I like the battery power so I don't have to worry about gas problems and the fact that you don't need to fight a recoil cord. Push a button and it starts! The older gentleman and at least one, maybe two other friends were very impressed with it and are considering purchasing one.

This is a GREAT deal for under $100
I read some of the bad reviews before I ordered and I was skeptical, to say the least. Once I received this I was totally amazed. Only took a couple minutes to assemble then I charged the battery, which I left on for about a half hour. After I used it for the first time I was thoroughly impressed. For it's size, this is quite powerful and fast. Our backyard is large and had a lot of packed dirt and this ripped through it with ease. I used it for about two hours non stop and at the end of that time the battery was slowing down. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a small tiller. It is light weight, inexpensive and works great and under $100!!

Very handy tiller
This is a great light duty tiller. Great for raised beds, and mixing bags of soil additives together in a big tub. I find it very useful. Long battery life.

Beginner's Gardening Tool
This tiller is exactly what I needed. It's lightweight (I have a weak shoulder so this was perfectfor me!), easy to assemble and easy to use. The rechargeable battery last about 30-45 mins depending on how hard the soil is packed down. It does tear up weeds but the weeds tend to get tangled up on the blades causing the tiller to stop running. It's good for home gardens. I also use it in our school garden but the short battery life limits my projects. 3 others have used my tiller and find it very easy to maneuver. It was a very good investment.

A quiet and effective tool
So far I am extremely satisfied with the Earthwise cordless tiller. I have a raised garden that is relatively new and has pretty good soil. This tiller made short work of it. It broke it up nicely. Then I moved to the flower bed in the front. It is Ground level and the soil in it is crap. It's hard as a rock, has a little red clay in it, and does not break up so easily. Obviously, the tiller had more trouble with this one but it still made a good showing. I had trouble going very deep, in the bad soil, partly because of the light weight of the tiller, but I am very satisfied with the results. It is maneuverable, has enough power to do the basic job of breaking up the dirt, and I was pleasantly surprised by how long the 20 volt battery lasts. If the tiller gets caught on a rock or otherwise hits something that it can't cut through, the tines lock up and it sounds like the gears are stripping out of it, but once you free it up, it keeps churning right along. Full size gas powered tillers are noisy, awkward, incredibly heavy, can be hard to control, and prone to all of the gas and oil issues that plague other small engine tools. In short, I like this thing a lot.

First 2-3 battery charges don’t give full power, fine after that.
Excellent light duty tiller. I have hard rocky ground I needed to level out. It was a breeze with this tiller. The machine did all the work, the “hard” part was removing rocks that stuck in the tines. This was so much easier than hand tilling the soil continually digging those same rocks out with hand tools. I was able to loosen soil 7-8 inches deep with little effort. The only con I would add is battery life at the start. The paperwork warns that the first few charges will not run for the full time. It is made clear that after 3-4 recharges of the battery you will get more life per charge. I found this information helpful as I would have thought I had a defective battery.

Well worth the purchase. I really enjoy using it.
I love it. It was so worth the buy. It is light weight and easy for me to handle. It is pretty easy to clean up. The battery last for about a hour when I use it on new ground. It last alot longer when I am using it on ground that I have already prepared. The battery charges up in about 15 to 30 minutes depends on use. I am impressed with the depth it goes even on hard ground. I have small flower beds and garden beds and this is perfect for them.I am planning on purchasing more outdoor equipment of this brand.

Waste of money
You probably just need a gas powered tiller, this doesn’t do what you need.I tried to use this to till a few raised beds and it was a complete piece of garbage. It stops (makes a clicking noise) on every single root, you have to unclog the rotors after every bed, and when I went back over the area I realized that it was only moving the soft dirt around and all of the roots and tough soil was still rock solid. This doesn’t have enough power to work as advertised and is really only good for tilling straight sand.
