This wireless control box was just what I needed
This wireless control box was just what I needed to solve my problem, I bought this to install on an electric hoist. I wanted to replace the 4 foot corded hand remote as the the 4 foot cord is really useless where I mounted the hoist 16 feet high. (That’s another review to do on the hoist) – Anyhow I now have the Hoist along with the Wireless remote installed plus a new 20 foot long corded hand remote. All are working great. This wireless remote control box plus comes with 2 hand held wireless remotes is really inexpensive, I really hope it last, Time will tell!I see several people having questions about wiring this up, I will try to help.1. There is a group of 3 terminals/ screws marked Forward/ Up, Common/ Neutral & Reverse/ Down these are all OUTPUTS going to the Motor or to a Contactors if you’re motor uses capacitors as in my case. Contactor or large relay is needed to handle the higher amps if using a capacitor. (I used two 30 amp contactors, 1 for up and 1 for down, the motor directly connects to the contactors. The wireless remote box controls the contactors)2. Same side the last two terminals in this group are INPUTS, one is marked the Power Hot wire screw and the other is the Power Neutral wire screw.3. On the other side of case there are 8 terminals/ screws- these are all INPUTS, The first four screws are for limit switches two screws for up and other 2 screws down. These when hooked up stops whatever you’re controlling from traveling too far in one direction or another. (A special note: For the up limit and down limit switch wiring- these need to be wired in the normally open side of the limit switches to work with box.) Now the next 4 screw terminals are inputs for a corded hand held controller, Up screw, Stop screw, Down Screw. The last screw is the hot power wire going to the corded hand held controller. (Another special Note: This wireless box comes wired in the latching cycle, which means with you push the up or down buttons- it will not stop until you press the stop button or it hits a limit switch if there hooked up. If you do not want it like that you will have to open the box up to move the jumper from latching to momentum).

Perfect for controlling my projector screen, Elite Screens Spectrum2
When I first opened the unit and looked at the directions I was skeptical that I could get this to work. The directions is poorly written but you can make it out if you have some experience with wiring. I hooked up power and disconnected the wires from the original projector switch and attached directly to the unit. On my first try I was expecting to trip the circuit breaker but it worked perfectly! I used a single gang low voltage old work gang box to hid the unit in the wall. I will upload a picture of my connections when I have time.My screen model:Elite Screens Spectrum2, 110-inch 16:9, 12-inch Drop, Electric Motorized Drop Down Projection Projector Screen, SPM110H-E12

Dead on Arrival
First problem is the attached instructions didn’t match the identification marks on the receiver units board. This creates a lovely problem where you can short out the board since the common comes from your neg post. There is better units that are made properly for same price to prevent the need for a diode to prevent shorting. This unit was also dead on arrival. Nice QC sticker guys. Oh and it’s for A/C systems only just an FYI.

Frustrating install with indecipherable directions but works now
Finally got the product working, in spite of the provided instructions. I understand the product was manufactured overseas; however, the company really needs to get a native English speaker to rewrite the nearly indecipherable one page if instructions which includes NO INSTRUCTION on how to install the wiring... If not for one of the relatively detailed instructions from another review here,I would have been in trouble. Still, even with those instructions, trying to figure out which wire was up (reverse) and which was down (forward) -- this is for a project screen -- took some fairly frustrating trial and error.. Especially since those little screws are not so easy to work with. But it works now, so... All's well that ends well.
