IT EXPERT: I have used many of these over the years
My all-time favorite keyboard, and I am a 10+ hours per day (except Sundays which are for God) IT engineer of more then 20 years. The keyboard allows one to keep it close to the chest, and the mouse next to and close to the keyboard, which is ideal for sitting. The keys are just the right press strength, etc. I have at least used 5 of these, and they all performed well and reliable. The only issue I had over the years was a key getting sticky when I had spilled a drink on the keyboard :) The caps are easy to remove too (except perhaps the spacebar) for cleaning if you like. I would pay $40 USD for this keyboard knowing how good it is, and in the beginning when these came out (maybe like 5-10 years ago), I think they cost as much, but now they are so cheap so bulk-buy them :). It really is a reliable, as-good-as-perfect keyboard and I really recommend it to anyone. I am in no way affiliated with Adesso and made this review out of my own free will as I so much like this product. God bless!

you get what you pay for
el cheapo - apple magic keyboard it ain't (i mean, i know the Adesso is for pc's n i'm a pc guy myself, but my wife's magic keyboard for her mac is slick - she paid a lot for it but got quality in return) - i like small mini laptop keyboards, but this just gets in the way when i'm zooming and have my laptop way back by the wall and so need another keyboard to put up close - basically the keys are way too springy-spongy, way too much up and down motion needed and also too much push-down needed to type fast so it slows you way down, the backspace key is the size of a standard letter key rather than the more typical mini laptop double-size backspace key so you have to slow down to hit it or you'll miss and have to back up to correct the typo, small right shift key so same problem as w backspace, delete is at bottom in the row w the space bar instead of its standard location in upper right corner, only one control key (the left one) and again it is the same size as a regular key rather than a typical double-size control key so again it's hard to hit & easy to miss if you're going fast & so leads to typos, other people complain about the space bar, but at this point, the thing has my typing so slowed down i'm not bothered by a low space bar or any further inconveniences, etc etc. If you get this thing, you'll find your own favorite features to hate.If you buy one, be ready to go slow, often down to hunt n peck (now where is that darn delete key again).

A lighter touch than previous Adesso
I replaced an Adesso MCK-91 with the Adesso AKB-110B. The force needed to press the keys of the AKB-110B is distinctly less than that of the MCK-91, and in comparison the MCK-91 feels very mushy/sluggish. The AKB is slightly narrower, about 11.75" compared to the MCK's 12.4". The front to back dimension is just slightly larger (1/8") for the AKB. The keys at the far left (e.g. Tab, Caps Lock) and far right (e.g. Back Space, Home, Page Up) are narrower than on the MCK, but other keys are identically spaced and shaped (a very slight left-right scallop and flat front-back) to the MCK and represent a "full size" keyboard. The row of multimedia keys (the "top" row, above the function keys) of the MCK has been removed but the 3 LEDs remain. As with the MCK-91, I prefer using the keyboard with more forward tilt than is provided by the fold-out feet on the rear underside of the keyboard. The AKB-110B has a USB cable connection with a USB-PS/2 adapter provided. Thus far I have noticed no anomalous operation (missing or interchanged keys). The appearance is simple and uncluttered and external construction quality seems very good.

Feels good to me
Although I'm not a keyboard or typing expert, I have used quite a few keyboards, and this one strikes me as quite a high-quality unit, with an excellent feel and layout within the design constraints. So, if you need a compact keyboard for a Window or Linux machine (Mac OS apparently requires special, higher-priced keyboards, because Apple owners generally have more money to burn), and you don't need a pointing-device or wrist-rest, you probably won't regret buying this unit. I also have a full-sized Adesso with a built-in wrist-rest and touchpad, and have had no problems with it over the course of several months, other than being too large for my purposes (I should have chosen a smaller Adesso, but at the time I equated small keyboards with poor ergonomics), and the touchpad-buttons becoming unresponsive, apparently due to dirt getting under them, which I apparently fixed by blasting them with canned air.

~ Nice Mini Size, Easy-Touch Keys, Easy to Transport ~
My husband purchased this for his new job. It does not get a ton of use, but it is definitely important when he needs it, for entering codes and information for his new job. The keys are easy to use, consistent, placed as they should be, and it is of a size easy to transport. This works out perfectly for what he needs it for. Nice easy touch mini keyboard. He would purchase this again, if it were needed.

Nice compact keyboard for a legacy system
I bought this to replace an old PS/2 keyboard that had stopped working. This is very nice! It does come with a native USB cable, and an additional PS/2 adapter. The keystrokes are quite good for a cheap keyboard, and do not require too much force to press them in, which is my main issue with cheap keyboards. It's nice and compact, and I didn't have any issues with the key selection/placement of primary things like backspace/enter/etc. Arrow keys are in a nice "T" formation, unlike some of these compact keyboards which are in an "L" formation or all in a row. It's a nice basic design, and doesn't have any ugly logos or any branding on the front as well.I love it!

Very nice small keyboard
The Adesso AKB-110B is exactly the type of keyboard I was looking for. I needed a small footprint USB with normal sized keys and num lock, caps lock and scroll lock lights. I'm not a big fan of chiclet keys so I was quite happy to find this keyboard. The keys have a nice travel with just the right amount of resistance for my typing style. We've been using Adesso wireless keyboards on our production floor for about four years and none of them have failed so I'm hoping for similar durability in this wired model.
