Truly Works – Fresh Breath Without the Burn
TheraBreath is hands down the best mouthwash I’ve used. The mild mint flavor is gentle—no harsh burning sensation like with other brands—but it still leaves my mouth feeling super fresh. It’s especially great for morning breath and lasts for hours. I’ve noticed a big difference in overall oral freshness, and even my dentist gave it a thumbs up.If you want a mouthwash that actually works without the sting, this is it.

Effective and Gentle – Great for Fresh Breath
I started using this mouthwash because of bad breath, and it really works well! It noticeably freshens my breath, though I find it's best to use it again after a few hours for continued freshness. The mild mint flavor is a big plus—it's not too harsh and doesn’t sting my mouth. Overall, I’m very satisfied!

Alkaline Advantage: Mild Mint That Makes Mornings Better
After trying TheraBreath Fresh Breath Mouthwash in the Mild Mint flavor, I'm genuinely impressed with the results. What sets this product apart from other mouthwashes is its alkaline formula, which provides a gentler experience compared to the harsh, acidic alternatives on the market. The effectiveness is particularly noticeable in my morning routine - using it before bed means waking up without the typical morning breath issues. The mild mint flavor is refreshing without being overwhelming, making it pleasant to use consistently. For anyone looking for a more balanced approach to oral care that actually works, this alkaline-based mouthwash delivers on its promises. It's become an essential part of my daily routine that I'll definitely continue using.

Stinky breath- L8er!
Really works. Does what it says. I use just 1/3 dose, in am (dt expense). Trick seems to be time, patience, & thoroughness of gargle, vs. amount of product. I floss, brush, then gargle for 2-3 minutes while I go dress, put my earrings in, and/or brush my hair up into a ponytail/etc. I know this doesn't sound particularly ladylike, but it's just 1 of many quick, simple components of my daily routine, to greet the day feeling clean, with skin & hair moisturized, soft, & perfumed, (I indulge in a light spritz of beautiful French perfumery), etc. Here on this public forum, I'll detail my use of this product, but otherwise I prefer to at least attempt to maintain some decorum of feminine mystique! Suffice to say, other than special occasions, I don't spend a whole lot of time on a beauty routine. I like to keep it simple, & make it count... This is a miracle elixir! (I'd never get on an intercontinental plane trip, without Therabreath!)PS: Google research indicates this is the basic equivalent of newer/modern saltwater pool chlorination (a fraction of chlorine is needed to maintain salt pool water sterility, vs. massive amount of chlorine required with non salted water). I was even able to identify a basic home recipe using regular bleach! (BUT: Apparently, it tends to turn natural teeth a brownish color, which can NOT be reversed!) So, I'm sticking with this safe, effective product 😀 1 use daily seems more than enough- the effect lasts days- So, 1 bottle lasts me a month. (But, I'd need 2 bottles monthly, if I used it am & pm).Directions suggest in order to be completely thorough, to also deodorize nasal passages (after brushing/mouthwash) as follows: 1st thoroughly de-snotify, (blow no), & then use an eyedropper to place several drops in nostrils, tilt head back for a minute & let it drip down nasal cavities. (I usually do this right out of the shower, when the steam has loosened all snot & flem.)My issue: Although I eat a healthy vegetarian diet, love to be physically active / @ healthy weight, & am generally healthy, unfortunately I suffer a severe migraine condition, & am often bedridden for days/weeks at a time- Dehydrated, dozing on off a few hours as throbbing head pain allows, severely nauseous, acidic juices pouring into my stomach (my body's natural reaction to migraine & multi-days with 0 food intake), vomiting my entire guts out...After episode subsides, & I'm able to stand/walk/self-care, (IOW, once I'm ready to re-enter society), this mouthwash absolutely RESCUES my horrid "sick breath". Even using just once daily, difference is dramatically improved! Yet it's super gentle 😀 My takeaway- Yes, it's expensive; So only use 1/3 - 1/2 single portion after flossing & brushing- (no need to "rinse & repeat")! Just be sure to gargle longer, very thoroughly, & hit all areas of mouth, incl. deep in back of throat; & add a few sparse drops drip down nasal cavity, after clearing sinuses. (It will feel like post nasal drip, you'll swallow it).

Works Right Away
What an amazing product. I bought it based on the reviews right here at Amazon, and I'm not disappointed at all. After one use, I had essentially no odor coming from my mouth. I am a chronic sinus sufferer. My sinuses always seem to be draining. On top of that, I, admittedly, don't have the best diet. These two things combined really affect my breath negatively. But after using this product even just once, I was able to eat, drink and nap, and whereas all these things before would seem to result in unbearably bad breath at times and just "normal" bad breath other times I had no bad breath after doing these things. It is long-lasting. I use twice a day, so there's never a time when I detect bad breath from myself. Furthermore, my mouth feels cleaner and less heated on the inside. The reasons I don't give it a full five stars? The bottle says "Fresh Breath," and I think it is also advertised with words like "mint fresh" breath. I don't find this to be the case. I find their description of "neutralizing" to be far more accurate because your breath has more of a neutral scent than a fresh or minty one after using this. I would actually say that the rinse tastes like Hydrogen Peroxide to me (I have used HP in rinsing several times before), and that's the taste and odor I would say I am left with in my mouth all day and all night. I don't find this particularly pleasant. And as I mentioned being able to eat, drink and sleep, and wake up without bad breath...for example, if you drink Coke, the taste will linger on your tongue, but you can still also taste this rinse and as time goes by the taste of the rinse will again become more prevalent in your mouth. This would be fine if the rinse had a more pleasant taste. But I really can't complain much about the HP-like quality of the rinse. Before using this rinse, if I drank Coke, I would have bad breath until I brushed my teeth or rinsed with some rinse, and the bad breath would still come back. TheraBreath does what it's supposed to do in that regard, and I would rather walk around with HP-tasting neutrality in breath than bad breath, especially since I work in the public sector.

Best for strong breath
This mouth wash is a game changer. It really cleans your mouth and freshens your breath. If bad breath is something that’s a struggle for you then this is definitely worth a shot. It also doesn’t have that burning sensation that other mouthwashes have.
