Thank you for the added video on amazon for directions to put this item together, however, this was challenging. it took me ages to put this together and it still is not up properly, i gave up after 30mins and the lid broke, whilst attempting to put it on, if the seller sends a replacement lid i will be happy to change my review as it seems as it is fit for purpose.

Honestly, the best bin. Made such a change to my kitchen life. The only downside is the lid, it kept coming off after it cracked (it was our fault, really, but it’s on the fragile side!). Tried to fix it but it would not work. Eventually decided to use without the lid as we empty the bin every day.

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely amazing. My cupboard under sink is small due to filter and pipes. This fitted perfeclty. Easy to assemble if you follow the instructions. Really happy with this.

The assembly instructions are appalling: just a few words of English in a couple of places would have made an enormous difference. I am an experienced DIYer and it took me nearly two hours!When you unpack it, there are several large pieces of plastic and some smaller bits: some are still attached to the original moulding and it is difficult to see what is needed: bit like a 50s Airfix Kit!You need to stick the instruction sheet to the cupboard to mark holes, thus obscuring the instructions: they advise cutting the sheet in half to distinguish left and right fitting - not sensible since that would destroy the instructions!!!One you have fathomed the instructions, it is fairly straightforward with one very notable exception - you have to make absolutely sure that you understand how the lid lifts: by the time you realise this, you will have fitted the important bit wrongly because the tiny picture of the pivot fails to convey accurately how a critical three dimensional object should be orientated. have a flat screwdriver and small mallet to hand!The lid does not do much: it wouldn't keep a rat out, let alone flies! It really is for dry, inorganic waste, but then most are.Its merit is that it is cheap: there are plenty of similar bins which are prettier and vastly more expensive. It does the job and I hate it.I have upgraded this a few weeks later, having recovered from the fitting ordeal. It looks ok, is easy to clean and appears to be reasonably robust.

Cheap rubbish. Assembled as per instructions, but on the very last step, attaching the lid, the clips on the bracket snapped off. Also, the lid doesn’t really fit the bin to be honest. The product takes up a disproportionate amount of cupboard space for the size of bin.

Very good value

Easy enough to fit and seems to be made of pretty thick, solid plastic. The supplied screws were slightly thicker than my cupboard door so you may need to use shorter screws or space the bracket if you have a thin door. The thing not shown in the listing is that the lid lifts as the cupboard opens. It only lifts a little (maybe 40-50mm at the open end) but this is not shown on the dimensions.

Completelly silent to operate. It also allows for easy access to any items stored behind the bin at the back of the cabinet.Personally I didn't install the lid and used standard cabinet shelf just abow the bin. It splits the cabinet in half and gives me all the extra storage space abowe the bin. Superb.
