Good value and works like it should.

I was hoping for something with a small head, but this one has a huge head. Almost too big for what is does. The T-bar handle at the top falls out too easily as well. Often falling into the engine bay of what ever I am working on. That is dopey.

Initially, I was looking for a tap wrench extension to reach a difficult location. Then I discovered this tap wrench. Sized listed as metric, but my imperial taps fit fine and the wrench does not know the difference. I am only considered a hobby user. I don't know how durrable it is for daily use, but I don't care. Most tap wrenches have a conical dimple on the top center post. This one does not. That dimple helps you locate the wrench. The top cap is removable and I can Chuck it into my 3 or 4 jaw lathe chuck and create a conical dimple if needed. The only problem, this dimple breakes the chrome barrier on the end of the cap. No big deal, I could always get it replated, but a bit of WD-40 will keep the moisture away from the bare steel. So overall, I am happy with the wrench for my needs.

The lever on top falls out because of the keeper ball in the wrench is stuck.

This tool is good for hard-to-reach places holds larger taps securely, good price fast delivery

Don't buy

This is great for running threads where there is not much clearance. It makes quick work of those hard to reach threads.

I needed to get an EZout in a tight place so I could remove a broken bolt without removing the manifold.This worked perfectly and the ratcheting feature makes it very easy. The sliding t-bar also allows for tight places.I’ll use it in the future for threaded taps too.
