🔥 Spice Up Your Life with Ghost Pepper Flakes!
Sonoran Spice Ghost Pepper Flakes deliver an intense heat experience, boasting over 1 million Scoville Heat Units. Known as Bhut Jolokia in India, these non-smoked flakes are four times hotter than Habanero, making them a must-have for spice enthusiasts and culinary adventurers alike.

Very spicy
This is a great alternative to the standard hot pepper flakes you get in every pizza place. If you like an extra kick, this is a fantastic product.

best balance of heat intensity and flavor
i know this ultimately comes down to personal preference and tolerance, but for me, i find this to be much better than the reaper flakes when it comes to adding flavor and heat. the heat isnt so strong that it prevents me from adding enough to spread the flakes evenly throughout the dish and taste the pepper flavor. the flavor is very nice by the way!as far as quality goes, ive ordered quite a few of these so far and there has never been any damage to the shaker, nor has there ever been an issue with the flakes inside. you're pretty much getting exactly what you expect, with no issues. simple and great. 5 stars!

The benefit of these spices is they can add a lot of heat without altering the flavor too much like adding pickled jalapeños doe
I bought both the Ghost Peeper flakes and the Habanero flakes to season, well, everything I eat. The benefit of these spices is they can add a lot of heat without altering the flavor too much like adding pickled jalapeños does. The ghost peppers are good but can be easily over done. With the Habanero flakes you don't have as high a chance of getting 'hot spots', places that get a few flakes where other bites had no flakes. That happens with the Ghost Peppers. But with the Ghost Peppers a little bit goes a long way, so the whole container will last a long time. At this rate between the two containers, eating them almost every day I can expect them to last maybe a couple years. It's a great value.

Does not change flavor but ramps heat...awesome!
I started in 2016 with the Trader Joe's Smoked Ghost Pepper but have made several purchases from Sonoran since then of these grand pepper flakes. I'm the only one who enjoys the intense flavor the spice brings out in dark sauces, beef barbecue, and casseroles. You'll learn quickly not to grind on top of steaming food, but if you enjoy sneezing powder, that will light your fire. Please do not touch the pepper before rubbing your eyes. Keep the peppers away from mucous membranes or you'll be paying for it for a while. It doesn't take much to set a meal alight. Some grinders will gum up over time because the dried peppers will absorb water and then not grind very well. Reuse a McCormick pepper grinder or another spice that comes with a grinder. The WMF grinder is ceramic and did well for a while. Maybe put in a sachet of silicone dioxide if you get a regular grinder. Bottom line, if you like heat without wrecking the taste your cook spent so many hours preparing for you, this is the pepper.

Spicy spices
The peppers have a distinct odor to them. Not like spicy or hot...almost like they weren't completely dried out or something.

Potent
Really wish I could eat this spicy of seasoning. Spicier the better. I bought this for an entirely different purpose….To bury in mole trails. As soon as they hit this stuff, they run the other way and now my yard isn’t torn up at all. As long as you dig and find the clearly defined hole and stick it right in and re bury with unaffected soil, it won’t bother your dog. Just have to do it in an area that you won’t be re digging anytime soon. Thank you for saving my yard. It is easy to rid your yard of grubs, but not your garden.

Son enjoys this
You can feel the burn.My son has purchased this particular size several times now.He adds it to most of his foods.I do make him rinse his dishes thoroughly because the spice really is too strong for me.

A Must Have if you Love it Hot
If you're a fan of crushed red pepper but you want more kick, that's exactly what this is. A little goes a long way. I keep one at home and one in my car. It's always a great conversation starter when I bring it into restaurants or other meals out. There's often someone interested in trying it. I usually keep a little in a travel container to gift to people.
