Cover damaged in shipping
Haven't had a chance to read the book yet, but I'm excited. I love all of Christopher Penczak's Temple series books. The box was torn in shipping as shown in the picture. The cover of the book was gauged. It wasn't torn through, but it is damaged, which sucks.

Introduction to Qabala for Pagans
This book is the fourth in a series on Witchcraft by Penczak. It follows a very similar layout to previous volumes. The first four chapters introductory reading, then thirteen lessons to be studied in a year and a day. The first lesson is basics, then one lesson for each sepherot (plus Da'ath), then ending with an initiation. The material on the Qabalah follows orthodox Golden Dawn teaching very closely. There us not much material on the 22 connecting paths nor on the Tarot. In fact it is remarkable how little information is conveyed in 500+ pages. Other writers cover much more in less space. But this is not necessarily a bad thing. For pagans unfamiliar with the Qabalah the conversational tone and lucid exposition is very helpful in learning what is, in my opinion, a dry and intellectual subject. All in all, I would say this book will be of interest mainly to those familiar with his three previous volumes. Ceremonial magicians will find it too elementary to be of much use. But for pagans who are curious about the Qabalah and how it could be incorporated it into their craft, it can be very useful.

Great book. A lot of information.
I have been studying ceremonial Magick off and on for a few yrs. Have Liam Thomas Christopher’s book in which he wants you to purchase over $1000 of other books. I also have a few on just the Kabbalah. I have to say I really enjoy Penczak’s style of writing. He breaks this down in easy to read and digest material. I had gone back to studying Trad Craft and came across this book. It’s the best of both worlds and how to implement these tools into the Craft. I plan to purchase his other books after I’ve chewed this one a while. If your on the fence and want to learn ceremonial this is a must have.

An excellent book. The complex material is very well presented and explained in a balanced manner.
Not only does this book include a vast amount of useful information, it is well explained and well organized. The presentation order is particularly logical and flows nicely. I particularly like that the author explains carefully that there are differences in practices and philosophies that are all valid and useful for the various people who choose to look at and apply them in a particular way. It seems to me that he also generally gets the major philosophical underpinnings right and then adds explanation of variations. I like all of his books but this one is my favorite.

effective and pleasant
i have enjoyed other books by this author, but this is by far his greatest work. the qabalah is a subject i have had some difficulty with over the years even with such refernce tools as kraigs modern magic and witcombs magicians companion in my library. this book presents the material in a way that is very accessable to most readers and is very detailed in the attributes of the spheres to include assosciated dieties from all pantheons and related spell work. if you are interested in this subject and wish a more thorough insight into its mysteries, especially from the perspective of a witch, this book is invaluable.

Gifts of History
I feel that all Wiccans should understand that qabbalistic magic and witchcraft are basically the same in nature. We all have the power through will and intent to bend using all gifts of history.

Christopher's series is wonderful; they were recommended to me by a student ...
Christopher's series is wonderful; they were recommended to me by a student of his, and I am sold on the quality of the material, the amount of ground he covers, the broad range of understanding. Excellent stuff. Worth getting the CD series that accompanies it. The book arrived promptly, before expected, in safe packaging. Thank you!

and the like. I warn you
Witchcraft is of the devil and one day....those demons will come and snatch those to hell. The bible clearly states...one of the acts of the sinful nature.. Galatians 5 :19-21 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, self ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you ,as I did before, that those who live like this will NOT inherit the kingdom of God! Jesus is coming...those who don't believe it...well....no dark power will save them! In fact..Satan is smiling right now,for he hates God and is doing his best to get others to follow his darkness. The ONLY reason for purchasing this book is for research. And believe me...I will be having having praise and worship music playing, for when you praise the Lord..demons flee! After I am done....the book will go in the garbage-for it has no place in this Christ centered home. I pray that the author,Christopher Penczk's eyes,be opened, unveiled, before it is too late! Jesus loves us no matter what..don't let the devil tell you otherwise...he is full of hate and lies!!

Péssima impressão, literalmente
Impresso em jato de tinta... O conteúdo é maravilhoso, mas o serviço foi de porco... Comparado com o outro que adquiri da mesma editora e coleção, não dá pra acreditar, nem padrão de capa foi mantido...
