Great idea - over priced
The product title is mis leading. Not worth the price. You only get 5 little racks not a 5 pack of sets as it leads to believe. Not worth the cost of the product. Would need to spend $100+ to get only 25 racks. Buyer beware

Nice, But With Issues
UPDATE: The next paragraph has my original review. At the end (under UPDATE INFO), I compare the Mop Away to the original Jaadoo spin mop, but as a pre-summation, I believe that each has its advantages and disadvantages and I prefer the Mop Away's bucket design and performance. This Mop Away Wet/Dry Mop could have gotten four to five stars from me if the mop head screwed on or snapped on easily, but it doesn't. Below, I examine the pros and cons, while I consider possible users who might benefit from this product. Before I continue, however, please know that there are two other units out there, including one by O Cedar, which might be better than the item that I'm presently reviewing, since the mop head appears to attach easier. A third manufacturer is Hurricane. All are made in China. You might also want to check the Korean made Jessy and the Smart Twin mop/buckets. They are fascinating to say the least and I suspect that any of these buckets, especially the Korean ones can double as portable small garment manual washing machines and wringers. The Hurricane and Jessy models offer mop heads that appear to snap on and off easily, since they connect at the circular base instead of at the end of the pole. The Hurricane, Smart Twin, and Jessy mops also spin while you're cleaning. The Jessy boasts a sturdy stainless steel pole. The O Cedar's triangular base allows you to reach into corners. Any of these mops are good for dusting by making the handle shorter.Positives:It arrived with three mops and a duster; very nice. The mop's pole assembly is easy. It comes in three parts that screw into each other, producing a nice tall, sturdy pole that offers 90 degree bending in opposite directions, making it possible to clean walls and windows with the mop, if you have the strength and dexterity to attach the mop to the pole.I love the foot operated mechanism that twirls the basket and the mop. As the piston and gears spin out of sight and below the basket, the basket and mop head rotate, producing a centrifugal force that squeezes the water out of the mop. The ball design at the bottom of the pole allows the mop to spin while the pole remains steady in your hands. The bucket is well weighted, so you don't need to worry about it tipping over while you operate the pedal.Negatives:Because of the foot operated mechanism, this bucket is understandably heavier and wider than an ordinary bucket. Its oblong design accommodates the mechanical parts. The added weight and design could be a problem for individuals like me who suffer from arthritis, but people with healthy joints and muscles will probably not have a problem with the bucket's weight and shape.Another issue for people with arthritis or who may have balance issues is the height of the foot pedal. I would have preferred it a little lower. I operated the pedal with my back against the wall and believe it will also be easy to operate from a sitting position. So, if you're in a wheelchair and have functional limbs, you will probably be able to operate that pedal. As I mentioned above, my pet peeve is with how hard it is to attach the mop head to the pole. Having small, arthritic and weak hands it's a major problem for me. However, a healthy young man offered to snap it in for me and I noticed that he too had trouble with it. After about four attempts, he managed to get the head to remain in place. The problem is due to the poor design at that contact point - there is no release/hold mechanism, but simply two square shaped pegs on either side of the pole that are supposed to fit into the square openings on the mop head. That thoughtless design has convinced me that the head will probably snap off repeatedly while the mop is on spin mode. I've learned that it doesn't pay to return certain things, so I freed myself of future headaches by getting rid of this spin mop/bucket combo. I can't see myself dealing with the problem every time I need to replace a dirty mop.Yes, you can machine wash the mop and reuse it. However, machine washing such an item could clog household pipes, causing additional problems. So, to save yourself from that headache, I suggest you wash the mop in the bucket with a little bleach. Also, I recommend that you keep filled buckets away from small children and pets in order to prevent drowning and other hazards. Now, I hope to have a look at the O Cedar competitor. It will be my third attempt at trying to recapture past memories with a good mop and bucket. I hope that the third time's the charm. Walmart is selling the O Cedar combo for $29.99; free home delivery with $45 qualifying orders.UPDATE INFO: During further research, I decided to purchase the original Jaadoo spin mop and bucket instead of the O Cedar. The drawbacks for the Jaadoo are: the bucket isn't as steady or sturdy as the Mop Away; the wringer spin basket is too small for the mop; the bucket's spin mechanism jams while the Mop Away spun smoothly; without hesitation (however, I gave each a dry run; I didn't wet either mop in case that became a problem for my arthritic hands - I can't wring out most items by hand, if it came to that, and a full bucket increases its weight, not worth the trouble for a test). The Jaadoo's pole is 64", about 1/3 taller than the Mop Away, which I didn't measure before I got rid of it. I suspect that the added Jaadoo's pole length, attributed to perhaps an extra extension, might be a mistake, since the dealer (which was NOT an Amazon affiliate) sent me a unit that was obviously a reject, judging from the smudges on the bucket's handle and the pole's base, which also smelled of ammonia. It doesn't pay to return the item(s) to the Jaadoo dealer, since they want a 25% restocking fee and I have to pay for shipping. While Jaadoo's bucket comes with two spinners (one for washing the mop inside the bucket and the other for wringing), the bucket's flimsy design and the mops being too large for the wringer as well as the pedal/spinner's tendency to jam reduce the dual spinners' appeal. Unlike the Mop Away, the Jaadoo's mop heads snap on and off the pole easily. If I hadn't gotten rid of the Mop Away set, I would have had a functioning Mop Away bucket and two good Jaadoo mop heads and pole that would have wrung out nicely in the large and steady Mop Away bucket. I provide an honest review, but I obviously didn't make a good decision by dumping the Mop Away bucket the same day it arrived. Finally, I filled the Jaadoo bucket to see if it could be used as a small garment washer/wringer. It failed that test too because the water immersed spinner is placed too high, in addition to the jamming problem, and the wringer needs a cover to retain a garment within the strainer. The bucket's combined oblong/rectangular design also makes it difficult to toss out the water. If you have a house wares/hardware store in your area, you might want to test a few of these buckets, mops, and poles side by side, but I found Sears' prices to be overinflated. You shouldn't pay more than $30 or $40 for any of these spin mops/bucket combos.UPDATE - The O'Cedar bucket (Sept. 19, 2013):At $29.99 (postage included at Walmart) the O'Cedar spin bucket was the least expensive. The others (mentioned above) were $40 and $70 (postage included). The positive about the O'Cedar bucket is that it's lighter and smaller than the others. The negative is in the foot pedal. It allows the strainer to spin well, but its length is too short. It's probably good for people with small, thin feet. My feet aren't that big (6M-6 1/2M, depending on what I'm wearing). I operated the pedal with my slippers, which wasn't a good idea because the clearing between the pedal and the housing is narrow, and yes my big toe got pinched in the limited space. Another negative: the bucket's upper lip extends beyond that foot pedal, so as you stand above the bucket the pedal isn't easily visible for operation. If I feel industrious enough, I could duct tape a metal or wooden lever to the pedal, thus extending its length and making it easier to operate. But, the longer a lever is, the higher it will be along the angle's trajectory. The solution to its height, curving the lever, would involve too much work.Given the problem with the pedal, I didn't bother with the mop attachment because I doubt I'll be using this O'Cedar device.

Does the Job
UPDATE 10/29/13: A white plastic piece broke off the spin mechanism when my wife was using the foot pedal. While this product worked well initially, it didn't last long. My wife is a tiny girl. She wasn't using any excessive pressure on the foot pedal. It's plastic; it just broke. From our experience, we'd tell you to just be aware, this item is not built for longevity. The following review is still relevant, so read on.-------------------------------I installed laminate hardwood floors throughout the upstairs of our house and the stairs. It was nice to remove all the carpeting, which caused my wife a lot of allergy problems. In return for the hard work of installation, and now that we have a new baby trolling about the house, she likes to keep the floor spotless! With this new floor, the manufacturer recommended warm water and white vinegar as a cleaning agent. This works fabulously and is super cheap, but the acidity of the vinegar attacked our metal mop handle and deteriorated it over time. My wife saw this style mop on QVC and asked if I can locate it online. She and I looked at all the mops on Amazon and purchased this one. She's been using it for a few months now and basically likes it. She's not a tall woman (5' tall), so the smaller size is ideal for her. The foot spinning action is something she really likes, but she was somewhat disappointed to find, after spinning the saturated mop, it still left a lot of water on the floor when mopping. She's taken some time to get used to it and found she has to give it a lot of spins, then mop a large area to spread out the excess water, then go back over the larger area and remop it after the air has evaporated some of the water. Basically she has to mop the same area twice. This picks up the excess water and keeps water spots from becoming noticeable when the water dries. The basic design of the bucket is nice. The suction cups on the bottom of the bucket keep it from moving around and the bucket handle is situated properly to keep the bucket even when picked up. The mops are not the style that we can find at our local stores, so the only drawback is I think we'll have to purchase replacements online. She basically likes this mop, but it wasn't quite what she expected based on what she saw on QVC. In fairness, this may not be the exact mop they were selling, but it is a spin-style mop, and she was disappointed to find it didn't spin out as much water as she had hoped. Regardless, it does the job and I suspect we'll use it until it falls apart. Whether or not we replace it with another spin-style mop is something she'll decide at a later date.

Great for mopping tile AND wood floors!
Highly recommend this spin mop! Exactly as shown on TV, and offered by many home shopping shows... It does a great job, andis no trouble to assemble at all... My only suggestion for first time users is to be careful when FIRST spinning so as not to spinwater all over the place... start the spin slowly, then increase the speed to spin most of the water from the fibers. It does take afew times to get the hang of it, but sure does the job as promised! I'd highly suggest anyone who has ceramic tile, wood, etc. touse this mop. I only use a little hot water, and a tiny amount of vinegar to clean my kitchen. For my wood flooring, I only use warmtap water with NO other cleaner. Just remember to start the spin SLOWLY, then pump faster to spin more water. It does take alittle practice, but is by FAR, the best mop gizmo I've ever had! Well worth the price.
