StoneBreaker Gloves Horseman Medium Work Glove, Medium, Yellow

Day 1, gave these gloves a run for their money rooting out some serious blackberry vines in our backyard. No fear of getting poked, yanking on dead and alive vines with big thorns and didn’t feel a thing. Also dug my fingers around trying to get up some well-established root balls and they held up just great. Some reviews mentioned not fitting right - got a large as normal and they fit great. The wrist is snug so you can’t just slip em on and off like some cheaper ones, but this means you don’t end up with dirt and junk inside your gloves. This was a little Father’s Day treat to myself so I tried to find the best yard work leather glove options. I’m not disappointed. Did turn my hands a touch yellow after the first use.

I purchased the Horseman in Large. Buckskin is the most comfortable leather you can buy in a glove. That being said, it is not as durable as a goatskin or cowhide. It forms right to your hand as you wear them in. I got the buckskin because I was looking fro a comfortable fit which is what most horseman want as well. The size chart from the company is spot on if you print it according to their directions. I use them as riding gloves for my motorcycle and love them. I would not use them to lay bricks or round up thorn bushes. Get a tougher set that StoneBreaker makes for that. Very good glove for a very good price.

I wanted to love these gloves—I really, really did—but I couldn't give my heart away to the StoneBreaker Horseman Gloves. They seem very well built and pretty durable, but the sizing for these gloves is quite funky. My hands are between small and medium, depending on the glove, and so I ordered the medium (because they don't produce the small size). My palm squeezed snugly into the glove (which was actually a perfect fit for me), but the fingers on the glove were so long they wrapped over my fingertip and folded down to my second knuckle. We're talking about an inch beyond the tips of my fingers. Now, I'd understand the long fingers in the glove if I had ordered a large or extra-large glove. But I ordered the medium. And, on top of that, the medium actually fit my hand around the palm very well. I tried to use StoneBreaker's sizing chart, but the grid seems to be distorted with the uploaded picture.I give this glove 2 stars because of the quality apparent with the gloves, but the sizing is a mess and buyers with smaller hands (below large) should look for another option.

My husband says these gloves wear out just as quickly as any other gloves he’s ever had. He likes them fine, so I keep ordering him the same pair of gloves every year. The sizing is a little off. My husband has average sized man hands, but the mediums that I ordered for him we’re too big. I wanted to exchange them for a small, but I had to pay for shipping. The shipping price was more than I wanted to pay.

I use these gloves for work around my mountain property and when I'm out backpacking. They feel and fit great. I can grab hot burning logs from the fire pit without any worry of burning my hands. I am on my third pair and will continue to purchase these again when they wear out.

These gloves are work animals and hold up pretty well. In all honesty, they hold up better than my Ironclads ever did. I use them primarily for axe work and wood gathering and I'm very hard on them. By no means are they indestructible, no glove is but they do hold up better than any glove that I have ever used. By far the best thing about these gloves is how comfortable they are. The deerskin just molds to your hand & fingers like they weren't even there. They have excellent grip for my Gransfors Bruk Axes...

They fit pretty good, although i've only used them a few times and they wear a bit quick i havnt even used them for heavy lifting or anything either just house hold chores but they are comfortable

These are strong well made gloves. I live out in the country and use them primarily when chopping wood. My initial impression was that I did not care for the yellow color. It does come in handy when you set them down and looking for them. My hands are at the top end of Medium and bottom end of large. I purchased the medium size and they are a good snug fit. 5 Stars because I would purchase them again.
