Behrens Galvanized Steel Trash Can, 31-Gallon

Very well made. Lid closes tight!

This can is perfect; just what I was looking for and needed. I am organizing my shed and in one corner I have an accumulation of shovels, rakes, sledge hammers, brooms, etc. all shoved into one corner. I ordered this beautiful 31 gallon metal can and put EVERYTHING that was in that corner inside the can. I love the lid but I put it aside because it isn't needed. The can holds everything, with room for more . It is now so nice to go inside the shed, go to the metal can and pull out whatever tool I need. All so neatly organized. Thank you. My shed now looks clean and neat!

I ordered 4 trash cans and received two in good shape and two that were damaged. I took pictures as soon as they arrived damaged and filed a claim with Amazon. Unfortunately Behrens is an outside vendor so Amazon can or will do nothing. Amazon will not even consider dropping this vendor based on the number of bad reviews. Behrens insists that I pay the postage to send them back their trash cans for a refund instead of sending me a shipping label like honorable companies typically do. Galvanized steel is hard to bend. I strongly suspect Behrens shipped two damaged cans from the factory knowing that the customer may not want to pay the shipping, which solves their problem as to what to do with damaged product.

Perfect to keep bird seed in and keep mice, etc out of container which they were chewing the rubber one.

I ordered 2 cans to go in the Behrens cart. Both arrived in good condition with minor dents in the lids, which were under the trash cans. The dents popped right out when I pushed them against the padded handle of a rolling shopping tote. The lids fit snugly, but I added bungie cords run through the lid handle and attached to each can handle. The goal is to be able to keep critters out so I can put them at the curb the night before early trash collection I'm sure they will take a beating and last much longer that comparably priced plastic containers that critters can chew through and that crack in freezing temperatures.

High quality bucket arrived promptly, as promised, in perfect condition. Bucket is roomy, and sturdy, with a tight fitting lid. So pleased. Thanks!

I brought two of these steel trash cans for the backyard outside for better protection from raccoons, possums, and any other wood animals that like to tear up trash and eat thru the plastic bins like their first cousins with Jaws. So far I'm really liking them. They look good they're very light when empty of course and I don't think they will be penetrated by teeth as easy as the plastic or rubber bins. They are not the biggest but there not the small either so two should do just find for my weekly trash storage and yes they come with a lid inside the box. I also brought two locks and two 4 ft bike chains to lock the top of lids to the side handles. I will update if fail me in this future summer to come but for now so far so good. Oh yeah I got some pics too of different angles so y'all can get a better feel of what talking about. I hope my review help
