I live on the second floor and have a round a 2" diameter pipe railing. The ad showed it could be supported by pipe or square railing. Tightened as much as possible but still slips. Dimension shown not same as actual. Put a pacer behind and appears to hold so far. Other than that it is a good product for the price.
