I ordered a size Large. My pre-pregnancy weight is around 143 and I'm 5'7" tall. I gained 40lbs during my pregnancy and I could fit into the corset around 4 days after delivery. The corset was uncomfortable pretty much all over for the first couple days because it was still too small for me so the boning at the top would dig into my ribs, plus the discomfort on my crotch as I'll explain later. However, after wearing it for 2 days it was no longer uncomfortable. Exactly 1 week after delivery I could wear it on the tightest hooks and not be in too much discomfort. My main complaint is, if you had a vaginal delivery, it can be very painful on your crotch because it fits so right down there. I had a very good delivery, minimal tearing, and it still causes me a great deal of pain if I wear it for more than an hour or so. I've finally just been leaving the bottom unhooked while I'm around the house so my sore lady parts aren't in so much pain. Also, it can be worn under clothes, but anything tight fitting you'll be able to see the hooks in the front. Looser fitting clothes, you wouldn't even know you were wearing it to look at you. All in all, I would recommend as it does seem to be effective in slimming me down quickly. But be careful on size, you wouldn't think someone only weighing 145 would need a large when sizes only go to XL, but I definitely did if I wanted to wear it immediately.

The girdle is actually awesome but I regret ordering up a size. When I got home from my c section I was so swollen that according to the website the large was the size I needed ( I gained 40lb with my pregnancy). After 3 days I had already dropped 17lbs, and the large doesn't really feel like it's compressing very much anymore. It's been great in helping me feel supported to move around more without pain, but I don't feel like it's doing anymore "shaping"I even retook the size recommendation quiz after the weight loss,and it still says I should wear a large, but I very much regret not ordering a medium now because I can tell it's not shaping anymore than a tight fitting shirt or pantyhose would.Customer service explained to me that since I wore it for a day I couldn't exchange it, and very generously offered me a discount that would basically equal the bundle pricing on an additional girdle. It's a lot of money to spend when you've got lots of newborn expenses so I don't know if I will end up using the coupon.All I can say is wait a couple days for the fluid swelling to go down before you decide on your size!

So disappointed. I used the video for sizing and measurements while still pregnant during the advised timeframe but unfortunately my girdle still does not fit. I wanted to give it some time since I had some swelling but even 1 month postpartum I cannot get it to close. I’ve already reached out to customer service and they were unresponsive. It’s extremely disappointing as this is one of the more expensive wraps. If you’re buying this I would wait until you after surgery to measure for sizing and be sure not to wait for it to fit before returning if it doesn’t at first.

I was torn about whether to buy a belly band or not, but at the end of the day I decided to give it a try. I liked wearing it because it made me feel intact, and I think it helped with swelling. It was not super comfortable to sit around in though, and sometimes the zipper edge felt like it was digging into my side. I did like how it had both the zipper and the corset closure it because it made the fit more adjustable to my frame. It washed well. Be careful with sizing, and make sure to pay careful attention to the manufacture specifications.

I ordered this corset according to the size guide, measuring my body as instructed and the item I received was too small. Being busy with the baby I didn't want to go through the hassle of an exchange so I decided to simply return the corset for a refund which I was able to do without difficulty. I can say however, the Bellefit dual-closure corset I received in the mail was of very good quality. If I would have ordered the proper size I have a feeling I would have been very satisfied with the durability and comfort of the material.

Purchase a smaller size. I am 5’3 pre pregnancy 175 full term 215. Started wearing the girdle 3 weeks after c-section at 197 pounds. The recommended size for my weight is XXL. I accidentally ordered a size large and was surprised it fit. It wasn’t too hard to put on. So far it feels comfortable. Looking forward to see how it helps putting everything back where it was before pregnancy.

Worth every penny! I was back to my pre-pregnacy belly within a week! The first 2 days was a little uncomfortable, but once I got used to being squished, I didn't even realize that I was wearing it. Many people worry about the panty part irritating stitches after a natural birth, but it didn't bother me at all. I kept this to use with baby #2, but I will definitely be buying the next size down because of how quickly it worked for me the first time. Worth every penny, especially if you plan on having more kids.

Highly recommend! I got my size measurements off of the actual website and was nervous that the size small was going to be too small. After a couple days post delivery I was able to get into it. The confidence it gave me after delivery was priceless, not only that but helping firm my stomach, and give back support was amazing.

Not sure it’s useful or not. sizes came bigger than what I expected , had to exchange for a smaller size.
