This book was awesome. I love that it had practice questions throughout each section! I passed the test with flying colors. I plan to order this brand book for my sister too!

I would give this book a rating of 5. I like how the book is sectioned out and how sample questions are provided during and at the end of each section. The explanations for the correct answer are ver informative to see where misunderstandings are.

I moved from another state and had to take this test. Got a 291 on the test! This book will prepare you just fine!!

I am enjoying working through the chapters and find the guide easy to use and helpful. This is not my first use of one of Cirrus Test Prep products, as I also used the GACE Program Entry Study Guide last fall, and received passing scores on all three sections.

Then this is the book for you! It reviews the important concepts and contains strategies from experienced teachers - which will be useful when you actually begin teaching. The book itself contains nearly 350 pages, and includes review questions scattered throughout the book, with a full length practice test at the end. You also have access to an online test which you should take as well, as the actual test is done on computer. You also have access to a free Essential Test Tips video, information on how to get that is on the first page of the book.It reviews Student Growth and Development, Disability Categories, Planning and Learning Environments, Assessment, and Professional Responsibilities. There are review questions throughout the book, which I find useful as it re-enforces important information. Best of all, the practice test in the book lists not just the correct answer, but why that answer is correct - and why the other answers are not correct. This makes the review much easier as you don't have to search through the book as to why the answer you thought was correct isn't...I received a copy of this book for free, this is my voluntary review.

The study guide provides information from student growth and development to professional responsibilities. With a practice test with over 100 questions. I found this guide useful. I recommend buying if you are planning to take GACE Special Education test.

It is very informative. Appropriate for someone wanting to learn about special needs students.

Each section covered and practice test questions. The information assisted in getting prepared for the tests and confidence to take the tests when scheduled. Improvements can be made by more sample test questions or another sample test be supplied.
