Really comfy pillow

We've had a pillow cull recently, and all the old pillows we've accumulated over the years had to go. This has given us an excuse to buy new ones obviously and we have gone a bit crazy testing out different ones. We got some pillows as used by a well known hotel chain, but found them to be too hard (even though we specified we wanted 'soft') and too thick for a good night's sleep. They cost the same as these, but were polyester as opposed to the natural filling here, and I can safely saw that these beat them hands down.The pillows arrive flat as a pancake, which is a bit worrying at first but once you break the seal on the air tight bag you can watch them magically inflate to full size before your eyes! A quick shake and they are good to do. A card enclosed mentioned about airing them if there's any natural odour from the feather but that wasn't needed for us.These are perfect for me, a side-sleeper, and not so thick that it's uncomfortable on my neck. They have the perfect amount of bounce whilst still feeling lovely and soft. To me these feel as good as the Debenham Siberian Goose down pillows we used to have, which cost significantly more than these.

Unfortunately, further to my earlier positive review, written on receipt of the pillows, after a few months of use it's a different story. The feathers make their way out of the casing, but not in a similar way to other feather pillows that I've owned, where every now and again a feather creeps out. This is the pillow cases being covered in tiny feathers every morning. We currently have 4 (yes 4) pillow cases on each pillow, and the feathers are still coming through. We will have to throw them away as it just isnt healthy and I'm fed up with having to hoover the bedroom constantly.On this basis, I would most definitely not recommend them. They're comfortable, but the casing isnt fit for purpose. I'm very disappointed to have wasted my money.

Very badly made pillows, it wont be long before there are no more feather left. My bedroom is full of feathers, keep escaping from the thin outer layer of the pillow. Im using a thick pillow protector over them and pillow case over that and i keep getting stabbed in the face with the end of the feathers escaping the pillow

Don’t normally write reviews but had to. Purchased 2 for my kids, one of them has so many feathers shedding from it constantly, and it surfaces all over the pillow case and the stem end of feathers also spike through. Making it very uncomfortable/ useless. The 2nd pillow has the same problem but not as much. Having invested in what I thought were good pillows, now have to throw them away

Please be aware these pillows do not carry the required fire risk labelling for sale in the UK or EU. They may turn out to be ok pillows but totally useless for my holiday let where every item of soft furnishing needs to carry the statutory Fire Safety Risk label.

Comfy until a week of use and the feathers have started coming out, poking through and not only poking me but also constantly finding them in the morning!
