I have wood LP congas and the overall sound of these heads is not bad but I still prefer the skin, these heads produce a light ring which is not heard over the rest of the instruments but is annoying to me. They do hold the tuning well and are good if you are playing indoor/outdoor venues.

No. You would have to purchase the E Head. I would highly suggest you contact Evans website and ask them.

There are some drums that require this type of head because the rim/hoop extends further out from the drum bearing edge than other models. The LP Giovanni/Galaxy drums are extended collar and would require this type of head. Most other models of drums would not work with this particular head.
