Perfect for use with kids! The glass is heavy duty and I was never concerned about handing 1 to a first grader who needed to take some time to cool off or finish an assignment. The size of the timers made it easy for them to look up at quickly and understand how much they had left without having to bend down to look at it. Because they are a great size, I often would put on in the middle of the table for 2 or 3 students to share as the same time-limit-goal. Wish there was a timer for each minute! (1min, 2min, 3min, 4...) Also considering another set for my literacy team.

We have a child with ADHD, and we purchased these to help with time management skills. He loves the timers and they seem to be doing their job. I don't know that the times are exact, but it is close enough that it doesn't matter. We pair assignments and tasks to the time on the sand timer, and he commits to focusing on that task for the duration. We used to digital timer before, but somehow the visualization of the sand seems to help. The bonus is that he actually enjoys using them. They are small enough to all fit neatly on his desk and well made.

I ordered these beautiful sand timers. They are colorful and work efficiently. One arrived cracked initially. I reached out to the seller and today I received the replacement. Now, I have a complete set in great condition. My children use them daily for different tasks. I would recommend this product to anyone!

We bought these to use as "break time" when the kids need an attitude or behavior adjustment, they are little so the visual aid is helpful. They use the one minute one for brushing teeth (flip it over to get 2 minutes). We use the 3 minute one most for breaks but when we first got them they played with them for 3 days straight, just flipping them over and watching them!

They are nice, they are not exact, but they are close. They are within a couple seconds of being exact

I cannot say enough great things about these timers! As a preschool teacher, these timers have been a great asset in the classroom. They provide my little ones with the ability to have an understanding of time as they visually see the sand move, feel powerful and autonomous when they make choices by using timers, and have helped them to problem solve and work together to take turns with materials. I like these so much, that I frequently recommend them to parents, and coworkers as great tools to have in their “tool boxes”.

I'm not looking to synchronize with atomic clocks or anything (that technology is available for anyone with a smart phone). Maybe a half second or even 1-2 seconds would make me consider holding onto these but the 3 minute was like 12 seconds too early and the 10min was TWENTY SEVEN SECONDS TOO LONG! That is unacceptable. returning these.Pros:Glass looks/feels good. The size is just enough to fit in one hand.Cons:Didn't care to see the huge glob of glue holding the inside of the plastic cap. If it weren't for the horrible inaccuracy I would rate 5 stars.Could be variations in humidity reacting with the paint in the sand cause unexpected friction? IDK just a thought. Needs quality control/calibrarion before sending unless this is meant to be decorative.

I really like these. You get a solid number of time options. The colors are vibrant- my daughter loves them. These are a more fun and interactive way to engage my kid with timing herself to do things- like putting away toys, etc.

These were so much better then I was expecting. They are glass, not plastic and are great value for money and have gone some way to helping my child to understand time ticking away, would recommend.

These are fantastic. They are bright and colourful and sturdy and my students and nephew love them. There is a great range of times so they can be used for quick jobs as well as long ones.

They are mostly accurate. The 10 minute one was by far the worst one (2 minutes off).Quality is good and I will mostly be using the 1/3/5 min ones for those who take too long with their Scrabbles.
