Not too big and not too small. Fits well on a nightstand or side table. Sound is really good and quite loud for how small it is. Easy to use. Bluetooth works well. No issues with the sliding door of the cd player and plays well with no skipping. Overall it's definitely worth the price.

Received this as a Christmas gift and have only used it one day so far. The sound quality is really great. I set it up in my bedroom which is adjacent to my kitchen and living room area and had no problem hearing it from the kitchen. I did not however, put the volume all the way up so not sure if there was any distortion at a higher volume level. I mostly listened to cd's but I easily paired my cell phone to the Bluetooth capability and had no problems doing it and I'm not very tech savvy. The Bluetooth worked just fine. The radio reception isn't that great but I suspect it's my house b/c we've never had a radio work well in our house. Mostly I wanted this to listen to CD's and am not disappointed. Finally can dig out those old CD's!

So far works great. The sound is decent for a player in this price range. Obviously it does not compete with a $200 Sound Bar. It played our commercial and homebrew CD's. The CD controls are a little odd and look like they were developed by someone new to the industry. For example, one cannot just load a CD and hit play. First you have to close the CD cover then press Play. An experienced hand would have programmed it to close the cover when one hits play. Another minor but annoying gaffe, pressing Play won't do anything if the unit is off or in sleep mode; one has to turn it on, wait for the boot-up, then press play (assuming one left it in CD mode else one must select CD mode before CD play). And there is no random or replay modes; it plays once through and stops. The FM radio is reasonably sensitive and our auto-scanned the local channels when first turned on. Once again, it works as well as one would expect in this range. Haven't tried the Input Jack yet (none of my phones are that sophisticated LOL). Nor do I have any Bluetooth devices to connect to. One last annoyance: the controls on the device itself are on top and only marked by "universal" images molded into the button tops (and some of the buttons are dual/usage so be careful little fingers when you poke LOL). Since we're using this at eye-level, the total lack of markings visible from the front was a real problem until I just made some stickers to put on the front.Sidebar: We had a good laugh when we noticed that the IR remote included with this device also activates the LED candle set we got before Christmas. So be careful where you point it if you have both in that general direction! LOL It isn't one-to-one though so we still needed both remotes; we just had to separate the player from the candles! LOL

I purchased this product after reading the reviews which looked largely good- for this and other similar products, the cd player failing after a bit seemed to be the greatest complaint but what do you expect from a 50$ product-When the package arrived- the system has a sticker on the front of the machine saying bluetooth compatable (it does not show in the photo) it is about 2x3" and one of my greatest gripes- does not peel off easily- goo gone and a magic eraser sponge took me about 20 minutes to clean it off and have it look like the photo sans sticker....Then I plugged it in and turned on the radio- should have done this before the sticker incident.....and I am not sure if the product was faulty- but what we hear after trying multiple channels is a very enhanced bass- sounding muffled but dominating any other part of the music- kind of like hearing a loud boom box next door- there is no bass or treble adjust button- The music was too distorted to be pleasant-So then I pack it up and have to print up the return shipping lable from Amazon, find a UPS drop off and one must pay shipping to return the product- so I am paying 9$ to return it-Not a good product- perhaps to be fair, I just got a faulty one as other reviews were more promising- but I would not purchase it.

I love the sound

The original unit i received worked the first night as i slept. the next night when i turned it on to play my sleep cd the sound would not come out of the speakers - no broadcasting of sound from the cd only. sound was fine on radio but not cd. i opted to replace the unit and after a week of use overnight it seems ok. STICKER SHOCK refers to the very annoying and very difficult to remove sticker that the manufacturer places on the front of this unit. It took me not less than 20 minutes of time to remove this frigging sticker using both a wet cloth with soap and then spray oil and another rag. So much for asthetics! But, otherwise, I was happy that it came with a remote that has a watch type battery - pre-installed (YES) and it does not require batteries as a backup system for the clock. I bought and returned 2 other units by other manufacturers because the units would not even turn on without the batteries. So, the speakers are nice, the unit is actually smaller than I thought which is good. The only negative for me is that fairly short AC Plug to the wall outlet. It's not longer than 20 feet and maybe a bit shorter. For the price and features I am happy. In fact, I admit I bought a BOSE WAVE System (III) this week and returned it because it was just more than I needed. This humble unit has actually nicer features in some regards and at a 10th of the price..
