Our straps for our rubber dock were worn out and these were a great substitute for the ones that came with the rubber dock.

I use these straps as a TSA friendly security strap for my suitcase. It keeps the suitcase or bag compressed and secure -- keeps suitcase from exploding if the zipper fails, for example -- yet if TSA needs to get in there, they can.The bright colors help keep people bad memories from grabbing your suitcase because it "looked" like theirs. Much bigger, brighter, and better than a ribbon tied to the handle. I might even crisscross two different colors to make identification undeniable.Very light and easily stowed when not in use. I roll mine up. Doubles as a compression strap for a sleeping bag or keeping some light boxes secured to each other in a car/truck/or cart.When you need one, these straps are priceless.

They aren't cheap compared to the other stuff you'll find on amazon but I bet 10 times better quality.

I used these to secure my artificial Xmas tree box. Worked perfectly.

I don't know what to expect from simple velcro except that it seems to stick OK.
