Works on orbit jar top 1" valves including model 57461/57467
Works well. It wasn't clear what part numbers are which because Orbit doesn't provide a parts diagram with model #s I could find so I was a bit anxious and had to go on visuals only.I got 5 of these to replace 10 year old valve diaphragms (the old "white" membrane type). These are clear silicon looks like, comes with a new plastic black valve seat (old was white) and the new part is a perfect fit. Worked both for my 1" jar tops that have a purge screw or one without, the green one or the older gray one. This compatibility is also missing from the product description. The older material had become brittle and stiff and the valves were not working right or either not closing at all or partially closing, and not easily moving up and down the center pin. This fixed it immediately. Install relatively easy if you have access. Had to unscrew the solenoid from the valve top to make that swap easier. Have a few more on order as spare parts.

Seems to be a good replacement - mallet may be needed
When you try to fit it in the valve, you will probably need a mallet to put it in place, since this needs a tight joint . At first, I believed it was not a corresponding part (have very old valves), but after the mallet intervention, it fitted perfectly. Will see how it holds.

Actual Use
Rating 4 1/2 why ? Because I would like to see if it gives me a solid two years, leak free. If it does, I'll add to the review. The manufacturer confirmed that this was the correct "kit" for my five year old orbit. Note: identification numbers change, confusing the purchaser, Tips: First take a picture when you take the valve apart, clean and rinse the interior, silicone spray or standard plumbers grease WILL NOT hurt anything ! When I put it together and blew through the valve with my mouth, air went through it. good ? or bad ? I have had these leak before. To test them properly (before going through all the work putting them back in my geo thermal heat pump system and not working) I bought adapters at Lowes: garden faucet (hose bib) to 3/4 mpt pvc male thread. You screw the male end into the orbit, you pressurize water to normal water pressure, and then I use an 18 volt cordless battery pack to energize the 24 volt AC coil on the Orbit. (Most of the time you can use 12 volts or higher, should be higher, to energize a 24 volt AC solenoid. (It takes water signal pressure to completely close the diaphragm properly. With pressure the valve stayed shut. With voltage the valve opened ! Remove voltage, valve shuts, drip stops. A pass on the rebuild ! Next step, install in system with teflon tape. In my case I l had put pvc unions on inlet and outlet sides of valve (makes removing the whole valve easier)

Orbit valve repair kit
Bought several of these just to have in stock. Inexpensive & very easy to install should your Orbit jar-top valve ever leak, but I’ve not had one fail yet! Hint: use an automotive oil filter wrench to take the valve top off …. works perfect!

Just what I needed to stop the leak in my irrigation system.
As a home owner, I am constantly improving my home maintenance skills through YouTube videos. Several suggested that the problem could be a bad seal. This diaphragm was just what I needed to fix the leak in one of the irrigation zones.

Let My Water Go !!!!!!
New Diaphragm solved the problem of control valve staying on and unable to shut off. Installation was a little tricky as the black seat ring was slightly oversized and required some light sanding on its outer diameter to allow it to fit back into the valve body. Once installed, the valve worked properly and shut off when signaled from the controller.

ring did not fit
I ordered this for an old valve repair. The new ring did not fit in the housing but the membrane seems OK. Did not try the repaired valve

It fits!
Take out the old, put in the new, walla!! No leaks! If you have an old (20 plus) Orbit sprinkler system, with the 'old' valves this diaphragm ROCKS.
