My favorite bread knife.
We originally obtained this knife as part of a set at a big-box store. This is THE knife for slicing artisan sourdough loaves. It is sharp enough to get through really tough crust, and has just the right shape to finish cutting through the bottom crust. Our first one lasted for about a year of everyday use. I was tempted to buy a more expensive knife and hope that it would last 10 times as long (for 10 times the price), but this one works so well I was happy to find it sold individually here on Amazon.
