"Grasping The Root of Divine Power" was much more than I anticipated upon first glance. I have tried several times to create my own spiritual altar and line up spiritually with my own ancestry and Afrikan acestors as a whole; but I hardly knew where to begin. Speaking to other people created more confusion. This book gives the reader both a beginning foundation yet also encourages liberation and following your own path.As I read this book I asked this question, "Can I really call myself a Conscious Afrikan without awakening and embracing the spirit of the Afrikan?" The answer came back as a resounding NO! At best I can merely scratch the surface of Awareness. I was happy to be Aware because so many of us are asleep, however I believe true fulfillment of my purpose and destiny can only be achieved through Afrikan Spirituality. "Grasping The Root of Divine Power" has given me a template to begin my spiritual journey coupled with freedom and connectivity with our Divine.I know that I will use this book as a resource and a reference guide again and again. I am extremely grateful to have this book as a part of my growing library of Afrikan Study materials.Again I say...Asante Saana!

I am very pleased with the information contained within the pages of this wonderful book. I am also very comfortable with it. I appreciate the way that the author has carefully constructed sentences from highly effective words that are obviously divinely inspired through deep study and meditation. I would highly recommend this work to all who are seeking to not only learn how to be an Afrakan, but who want to understand the commonalities the make up the bridge that connects the human family of this planet. Further, I feel that this is the best introduction of those who are part of the Afrakan Diaspora who's ancestors blood flows in the streets of this land, into Afrakan Indigenous religions that they have been involuntarily estranged from. It is crafted with the intention of birthing deep appreciation in it's readers for ALL Indigenous religions of the human family of the planet Earth.

The only con I could say about the book is that you actually have to apply the strategies to grasp the power. The book is concise and jammed packed with higher level knowledge without the pretension or hard to read esoteric rants. It delivers on OBI divination, which I wasn't even aware of until I got the book. The OBI is so uncannily accurate, I almost don't want to believe it, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. It delivers on the cleanses, once applied, I saw the manifestation of it the very next day! And mind power....well, I did levitate for two seconds once. I'm only kidding but the level of understanding that I seem to have is something you just have to experience for yourself. Get the book, the kindle, whatever. Read it, apply it and watch your life transform.One.L.G

I have a lot of respect for this teacher. He is a level headed, rational, non judgmental, very thought provoking teacher. I'm just surprised that he is not as well known considering how much wisdom he carries and how well he teaches it. I will be buying all of his future books. Chief Yuya covers everything. He doesn't skip over the uncomfortable topics applied to modern times. His books and YouTube videos are very helpful in understanding why our society is the way it is. The spiritual transformation that is occurring globally. I highly recommend this author.

I really enjoy this groundbreaking book for the reclaimation of Afrikan spirituality. It is a must have for those who are on the path to Orisha, Vodun, Kemetics, Akan, etc.. Although the author does not endorse any particular Afrikan spiritual path, the reader is left with a wealth of information to make a smooth transistion along one's journey. Hru Yuya T. Assaan-Anu covers Altars, Orisa, OBI Diviniation and so much more for the beginner. He offers tools and theory to equip the reader in establishing communication with protector spirits and purification rituals.I read this book in its entirety, and I am now going back to STUDY the gems taught by Brother Assaan-Anu. Chief delivers a high quality, yet easy to understand introduction to African spiritual principles. His written delivery allows the reader to study and digest the presented information in small portions. I’m new to these ideas and I appreciate this learning opportunity. Go ahead and buy it. You’ll not be disappointed!

I have not come across a book of this topic that was clear in its message. I recommend that you buy a hard vs digital copy. You will find yourself referencing back to it in your studies often. The price is very, very reasonable however; the further you get into this book, you will realize that it is a priceless item. Regardless of your level of understanding, this book is great for the beginner or advanced student. Extremely happy with this purchase as it will remain in my library for many years to come.

The value of this book far exceeds the price. I continue to go back over it every couple of weeks when I need to and find there's always something I didn't see and so I learn something new. It is an excellent book that will prove useful time and time again as you trod further along your spiritual path. I am very thankful for this book and the price that it is being offered at.

I have always felt alienated from structered religion and felt unable to embrace a belief system used to keep my people mentally enslaved. I have always had a strong sense of my Afrikan heritage and always searched for a spiritual outlet that was in keeping with my ancestry.I was guided to this book by the Ancestors as it is full time we Afrikans reclaim OUR traditional spiritualism and come into our own divine power.
