I am so in love with THESE files, I intend to order another two sets -- one for me, one for my Yorkie, and one just in case. They are so worth the investment, and I regret not getting them much sooner.They work beautifully on my natural nails, with no splintering or rough spots remaining -- and they file fast to exactly how I want my nails to look. And the foot file is also amazing in what it can do for the feet.And, yes, these files can be used in both directions, which is so appreciated. These glass files blow away any other nail-file material.But even MORE amazingly, these files work perfectly, and wonderfully, on my Yorkie's black nails, AND he loves laying in my lap while he gets his manicure.Nail-cutting anxiety is now a thing of the past for him, and for me. In fact, he jumps in my lap, rolls over onto his back, and sticks out the first paw.Dogs (and cats) with black nails, it is always a concern of quicking their nails, even when taking small snips at a time. But I clip off the curve every week to 10 days, and then use the medium-size file, rougher grit side first, to file until I see the pulp above the quick. No more guessing if just one more little snip will be good or a regret.Then I use the higher-grit side of the medium-size file to reduce the nail itself around the quick, followed up by a few swipes with the smallest file to final-smooth the entire nail .My time to do my boy's nails has been cut by more than 50%, my boy has the best-looking short nails now, and the QuickStop stays in the jar.For dogs (and cats) with longer black nails, this strategy will be a life-saver for both owner and beloved pet to get their nails to a healthy length over time, and keep them that way.I knew they would probably work well for me (but didn't know how well before using them). But I just had to write about using these glass files on my Yorkie because I know there are many pet parents are out there with the same concerns (and anxiety) I have lived with -- up until now.I cannot speak to longevity of the files, only having them for a few months, but my experience so far is they are well-made, and well-thought out in design and grit options. I keep the included towel under the files when working with them as an added step to prevent file breakage if one should ever slip out of my hand.I pray they never stop manufacturing and selling these exact files.

I just started using these files, but they do seem very effective. The files are short, but that makes them easy to maneuver. Unlike a regular nail file, they don't grab and tear nails. The result is a neatly filed nail with soft edges. The packaging is very nice too. I'm glad I bought a second one as a gift.

I am really enjoying the nail file set. IAt our state fair, there was a company that sold glass file sets, and the woman that worked on one of my nails led me onto glass files. With emery boards, which I have used for so long, I can file and there always seems to be jagged edges. This in turn causes me to file more. The file that I used on my nails is super smooth on the end with no need usually for touchups. I have even used the large one on my feet. It took off the rough area, which I really needed. I am really pleased with the quality of the files.The only thing that I would do differently is to make them a tad bit longer to make it easier to get out of the pouch.

Work very well and quickly on nails. For callouses on feet, a few swipes and you have to clean them in water to get the dead skin out as it packs into the grit fast and renders it useless. I use a large handled stainless microplaner first on feet and follow up with the glass file to finish. It's faster that way too.

Wow…the best glass files I have found…and I’ve tried many over the years! Worth it!

I was gifted a set, then bought one for a friend. I like how smooth my nails are after filing.

A little bit cumbersome, because the files are so thick. However, they are very smooth and effective.

Purtroppo non sono riuscita a provare la lima di media dimensione, probabilmente era lesionata e si è spezzata mentre la tiravo fuori dalla confezione. Ottima, però, la lima grande per le callosità e molto comoda la piccola da tenere sempre in borsa.

La mejor lima se pies son las de cristal! Es impresionante cómo te quita todo… yo me lo hago 1 vez a la semana después de bañar y ahora tengo la planta de los pies súper suaves! Y el kit viene con limas de las uñas q también son una maravilla para uñas largas. Le reglé una de ellas a mi mamá porque yo tengo uñas cortas y dice que la ama! Muy recomendable

Great value and sensible sizes. The smallest file is quite abrasive so not ideal for finger nails, but not a problem on toe nails.

Good quality crystal nail files. I like all the different sizes.
