Amazing replacement part, repairs a design flaw and only takes 5 minutes to fix leaky front elbow

The item is a good replacement for the existing base plate connector which from the amount of sales reflects what was a fundamental design flaw in the original plastic elbow connector.The only negative is that when fitting the replacement elbow (Now made of aluminium) to get the elbow to fit into place required the use of a lubricant and some gentle persuasion from a plastic mallet or similar. This was not a one off as there is at least one other YouTuber having the same issue.Apart from that an improvement on the original!

Arrived quickly and, with the part it goes with, was easy to fit and has cured the leak. Saved £300 + in buying new pressure washer. Mind you it was very difficult to reassemble the washer!

Fixed the issue with the original attachment, which had started to wear, causing the hose to keep coming free. The metal attachment seems to be much more durable. For £13 a good price.

Just the job

Part arrived on time. Fitted it which took around 10 minutes. The bracket itself with the elbow contained fits well enough. The problem comes when fitting the u shaped locking pin. It is difficult to align the bracket to the pipe that comes out of the pressure washer, in particular the channel that the pin sits in. A couple of removes and refits abs I could get the pin about half way, through the first bit of the bracket and around around the pipe but not back into the bracket. Further inspection reveals that the second bit of the bracket is an interference fit and needs a small clamp to drive home. Once fitted all works well with no leaks and full pressure. My washer is a karcher K4 from about 5 years ago.

Saved me £100’s on a new pressure washer. Great replacement. Although it was very tight to fit works excellent!! Great value for money and would definitely buy again if needed.
