Review Part 1: Putting this stove together is simplicity itself, although a bit tricksy in the first instance, that is the flue is dead easy, but the firebox takes a couple of goes to get it right. The instructions, as per usual nowadays are not particularly helpful, but once you have done it, no problems thereafter. I haven't fired it up yet - that will come in part two, but it is likely to be capable of a good burn; air intake at the base of the flue, a good grid to hold small burn material, although probably not wood pellets which may be able to fall through, but a variety of twig sizes will work with the advantage of gravity via a slight slope in the way the firebox fits into the flue. When assembled, the stove is stable and capable of holding a 200mm base pot and a couple of litres of water, ditto a frying pan of similar dimensions. Firing up will be the next test in terms of cooking as these stove burn hot normally so are not so great for simmering, but will boil water relatively quickly. I have made one addition to the kit that would be good for the makers to add and that is with regard to the grid that holds the combustibles - it fixes to the flue via a small flange that has a hole in it and I have put a small stainless steel round bar in it which holds it in more securely and, I think, adds to stability - makers, consider this. I will add to this review when I have fired it up and used the stove for cooking.Review Part 2: I used some small dry kindling that I got from the workshop and made a small amount of fine material with which to start the fire, having put a few pieces of small timber pieces in the flue. It was easy to get going, even in a very slight drizzle, an a bit smokey to start. The smoke died down as the fire took hold and I could feed material into the firebox. I put a pot with a litre of cold water on to boil and timed it. After 5 minutes the water was uncomfortably hot and around 7 1/2 minutes the water was boiling, which I though was pretty good. I used about two thirds of my kindling and the fire burned for around 20 minutes; it was out after 30 minutes but with some residual heat remaining and all of the wood was burned with a little ash in the base of the flue. As far as I am concerned this is a firm fixture in my camping kit. It is not perfect: the firebox bits slide out of their housing too easily, so careful handling is needed if you move it once put together. It burns hot, boiling water quickly, but will be a challenge using, say, a frying pan and cooking eggs, so some sort of ring to lift the pan 10 cm or so higher would be useful, or else you will have to hold the pan and adjust as needed. Nevertheless, this is an excellent rocket stove, made with good quality steel and very effective. More expensive than similar products out there, but better designed, I think and likely to be both more durable and more effective. Good value, overall.

Well engineered product
The rocket stove is well built and simple to assemble, it was a bit small for my intended use .I would buy another one if if was a bit bigger, I would say it is perfect for camping where you keep feeding it twigs .
