If you're at all interested in social movements or terrorism or the politics of South Asia, this is a great read. It's insightful and just really timely. I particularly liked the chapter on Gandhi and really getting a sense of the history and context of the phenomenon of suicide protest. Good book!

Dr. Lahiri's research and intense knowledge of the subject is exceptional and impressive. A must read about one of the most important and terrifying phenomenon of our times. Highly recommended.
