Something in me said to order this movie because I used to watch it when I was a kid. I'm glad I did. It was delivered right away and I was able to watch it with a few girlfriends who also love the "old beach movies". We had a giggle seeing all the old bathing suit styles and the hairdos. Even though the premise of the movie is old-fashioned it still brought great memories back to us of the times when boys respected girls and the girls who chased boys did it in a decent manner. Thanks for the fond memories!

I really love beach movies, especially ones with Frankie Avalon and Annette Funnicello!This particular beach movie is pretty humorous.A teen couple in love really want to be together forever, but supposedly that is not the cool thing to do as a teen guy who is hooked. This is definitely a mentality that continues today.A professor is studying beach life and teens that surf. He is particularly curious about the teen couple and why they act as they might. Delores/Dee Dee is willing to help him out with his research.Content: There are bikinis throughout this as well as kissing and the idea that people are having sex too (nothing showed, all implied). Nothing else really stands out of being in this film to be concerned over.

Review is for the downloaded version. (5 stars applies just to the movie): The price has gone way up to $14.99, which is $5 higher than the other beach movies. That's amazing considering that my purchased download had the movie in a small area in the middle of the screen, surronded by black on ALL 4 sides -- not regular letterboxing. About 2/3 of the screen is black, on widescreen TV's, PC, phone -- every device on every platform. An Amazon rep said Amazon couldn't fix it because all they do is offer the movie as provided by the studio that owns it. Get the DVD instead. It's cheaper & it's properly letterboxed at just the top & bottom of the screen.

I love this film it’s really in my opinion the best Frankie and Annette movie even better than Beach blanket bingo or how to stuff a wild bikini. I’m glad I bought it because I watch it so often.

The beginning of summer is a good time to watch a film like "Beach Party," which is brought to you by American International Pictures. This is the first film to star Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello, who would come together as the same characters in two more beach movies. All the movies are pretty corny, but they present nice, mindless fun for 90 minutes or less.

When I found out that this film was a musical I really enjoyed it and could stop watch it. What I like about the film is that it was very enjoyable and it had singing it which is what I liked so I would give this a 5 stars.From Cheryl James

My class couldn't understand the actor's dance moves. The movie itself added to our discussion of the perils of suntanning & public swimming. GREAT FUN!
