I have used other mats and was skeptical about trying yet another mat promising to trap litter. Frankly, I ordered your mat because of the size. I figured if the mat was longer, maybe the litter would mostly be on the mat making less litter for me to clean daily. My pet peeve is finding (and feeling) cat litter outside the room the mats are placed and often down the stairs too. I bought 2 for my cats’ 2 boxes. The size is very long as indicated. It closely resembles the other mats I’ve tried, so other than yours being a little bit longer, I was still skeptical I’d still be vacuuming my hall and stairs. When I got back home, I was surprised there was no litter on my hardwood stairs. Ok, so it didn’t track that far! There was no litter in the hallway! What?!!! There was very little on the mat, but still quite a bit right outside their boxes! Wow! Now I’m impressed, and I wish I would’ve bought yours first! I also have a brat-cat who pees on the mat occasionally. I caught her in the process and cleaned the top with a pet odor eliminating fluid, then braced myself to clean and treat the hardwood underneath. The floor wasn’t even damp with urine, but I cleaned it just in case! These Monkey Mats are awesome! I don’t usually get excited over my cats’ elimination habits, but VERY happy with your product! Pleased with the size. Large 3' x 4' mat...used only a couple of days, so far so good. Cats were tracking litter everywhere, so we shall see if this catches most of it. Purchased with a Iris Top Entry Litter Box (https://www.amazon.com/IRIS-Top-Entry-Litter-White/dp/B076YTSCYG/ref=sr_1_2?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1525639631&sr=1-2&keywords=iris%2Btop%2Bentry%2Bcat%2Blitter%2Bbox&th=1).It comes folded in a box; to get the wrinkles out and plastic scent out, I spread out - outside, could be draped over a chair too. In the morning it still had wrinkles, but no scent. I place the mat in the dryer, for about 5 min. on low setting. All the wrinkles were gone, laid nice & smoothly on the floor.

I purchased the (jumbo) 47" x 35" mat. It came in a bundle which left some creases in it. I had to leave it laying out before the creases from packaging got out, but it still does not lay flush on the floor.Pros:- Catches litter very well!- It's HUGE- My cats don't mind walking on itCons:- The mat does not sit perfectly on the ground; Other reviewers have noted this, and it's true that it ruffles up a bunch! You can see it in my photos.Edit on 7/31/18I have since purchased another to completely cover the floor of our litter room. There's still a chemical smell when I first open it, but it goes away after letting it air out for a day. I really enjoy these mats. They're great at catching litter (which can make cleaning a little difficult but all worth!)

I have a cat that has a hard time keeping his business in the box. I bought 2 of these because I thought they were rubber, would catch what the box didn't, and it would be an easy cleanup. Not so much. These mats are absorbent. I took them outside to hose off and they soaked up the water like a sponge, in addition to the pee, then the back disintegrated. Both went straight in the trash.

This mat is BY FAR the best litter-catcher I have ever used. And I've had indoor cats for over 20 years!! Mat catches and holds the litter my kitties kick out until I vacuum it up. Wish I'd found this mat years ago. I WILL NEVER USE ANYTHING ELSE under my cats' litter box. Terrific!!

HONESTLY EVERY CAT OWNER NEEDS A LITTER MAT. It changed my life. Only maintenance I do on it is picking it up by grabbing the four corners, taking it outside, shaking it off and putting it back down/ easy peasy (I do that once a week)! The litter shakes out of it so easy & if you want to wash it just spray it down with the house and hand it over the fence to dry (drys very quick)!I won’t lie and say that all the litter stays on the mat, some does still get outside the mat BUT it’s a day to night different in the amount of litter around the house. I sweep around the mat maybe every two weeks there is only a couple pieces of litter here and there. Makes a BIG DIFFERENCE HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! The price is great too! Im ballin on a budget.

In the 22 years since having my first cat, this is by far the best cat litter mat that I’ve ever used. The size is absolutely perfect in the 4’x4’ half bath off the laundry room that we use. I measured the area first and went with the smaller size, which fits perfect under the wall hung sink beside the toilet. It has enough room for both the hooded litter box and Litter Genie to sit on while trapping the cat litter. I was really impressed with the texture of this mat, more pliable and flexible, yet not thin and flimsy. Unlike other mats before would either be ridged, pokey or stiff for the delicate paws of my cat. She had no hesitation stepping on it after putting it in. I did however lay and leave it out for a day in an open area upon receiving it, allowing it to lay flat from being folded from shipment. I must also mention that there has been no strong plastic or chemical odor upon opening and using it. I love how easy and fast it is to clean using my vacuum wand with a crevice tool attachment. It is definitely nice walking in to not seeing cat litter scattered on the floor and hardly noticeable with the gray mat that I chose. Highly recommend this mat to anyone wanting to control the cat litter area.

This has made a huge difference in my litter upkeep! It’s large so it catches litter that my cat kicks around both in front of and on either side of the litter box. Limits my need to vacuum as frequently because of the bigger size. Litter gets caught even after he’s taken a few steps out of the box. Easy to vacuum or shake out. And a subtle color/design. A must have for cat owners!

Love it. Good quality. I got the biggest size and I have no more mess to clean. I have 3 cats and I always had litter everywhere but this carpet holds it in. I highly recommend this product
