Chemistry: Atoms First

This textbook is extremely difficult to understand for a person new to chemistry. There is a fairly large amount of excess information for each subject which is confusing to new students. It is very wordy and there are many mistakes in the answers provided at the end of each chapter. I find this very frustrating as I am not sure when I have made a mistake or if the book is incorrect. I've had to get feedback from tutors in order to learn that I was correct and the book was not. I am currently using this textbook for an online introductory chemistry course and I find myself using youtube for practically every chapter just to decipher what the authors are trying to present. If you have the choice to purchase another text, I would *HIGHLY* recommend using a different book.

This is your typical chemistry book, but it was not easy to grasp so many concepts one after the other. I guess that's just how it is.

Very easy book to understand if you aren't a chemistry natural. The seller didn't say how badly it was written in. I don't mind notes in the book but it was so badly marked up over type, some of print isn't even readable.
