Delightful!
Edward Gorey did the graphics for Masterpiece Mystery on PBS. I love those shows, so when I saw this puzzle I had to buy it. As a book and puzzle lover it was so much fun doing this puzzle. The pieces fit together as smoothly as any puzzle I have ever worked. The sides of the border are challenging, but nothing a little trial and error did not solve. Thanks to Pomegranate for this very delightful puzzle!

Quality Puzzle with Rad Art
I LOVE Edward Gorey’s art and I am so excited to have found this puzzle! The box got a little smooshed in delivery, but the puzzle was unharmed. The pieces are high quality and the art is freaking awesome. We put it together pretty quickly because each piece is unique and identifiable. I’ll be hanging it, so the price is more than fair!

Not easy but a very rewarding puzzle.
I love anything by Ed Gordy. His puzzles are not easy but worth the effort. The pieces are well cut and strong, not likely to fall apart.

Fun puzzle to put together!
The quality of this puzzle is way above average; the pieces fit very well, although I will say we had a little trouble on the edges as another reviewer mentioned. The colors are muted and easy to sort. Even at the end when we had mostly grey pieces left to use, it was well printed that we could find where they went. We had one extra piece that was double another piece so that was interesting! Recommend Gorey puzzles AND this brand of puzzle!

A Beautiful Puzzle That is Fun to Assemble
Fans of Edward Gorey will love this puzzle. The book covers are beautifully detailed and easy and fun for anyone to assemble since the colors and textures are each so different. (I did find the outside of the puzzle slightly challenging to put together since the two long sides are only maroon with no real variance in color or texture.)

More Fun than Scenery
One of the great illustrators, and 1000 pieces to fit somewhere -- what could be better?

Great quality puzzle
This is one of the best quality puzzles I’ve ever had. I have others from Pomegranate that are equally good. Love Edward Gorey, and this puzzle has a nice variety of his work. The pieces are easy to sort by color, but the border is all one color on two sides and is quite challenging. I would buy their puzzles again.

Too easy, and pieces don't stick together well
I finished all but the side borders of this in 4 evenings, maybe 90 minutes each evening -- once you sort the pieces it's too easy to be really engaging (most 1000-piece puzzles in this brand take me around 3 weeks of evenings). I do understand that the borders are more difficult, so might take another hour or so, but I may not even bother. The other problem was that the pieces are thinner than many Pomegranate puzzles and don't fit together tightly -- very frustrating if you try to move a section. I love this brand, so hope this was a one-off.
