This book is a must for any trainee miller/turner looking to expand their programming knowledge . A book that would also help an experienced programmer . Highly recommended.

Informatiser mon tour à métaux conventionnel pour le transformer en machine CNC, nest pas une opération à prendre à la légère.Bien sûr, des tutos de Makers existent sur le Net, mais un ouvrage de référence écrit par un spécialiste expérimenté est toujours bon à consulter.Je maîtrise bien la partie Linux CNC, la conception de ma carte CNC basée sur le FPGA Cyclone de chez Intel-Altera, mais il me fallait plus de culture coté machine. Cet auteur, clair, pédagogique, concis, aborde tous les points à prendre en compte et les techniques industrielles CNC. Un bon ouvrage, qui a toutefois quelques années, mais reste une bonne référence. Content de mon achat.

I have not finished this book but it is obvious that this is one book that everyone who wants to learn anything about CNC needs to read. It seems to me to be beyond thorough. My options were to buy and read this book or spend $2,700 in tuition for a course and the junior college that is a half hour away.

The book is filled with underlines, almost or literally every page. It is contrasting with description. Though it's maybe helpful in a way of following the path of other students.

I bought this for my fiancée and it has helped him immensely in his studies.

Great book to have at your desk.
