A little pricey but they work really well!
These are really great for root production and also handy if you tend to overwater. They seem pretty stable but maybe a bit less so than a fabric smart pot, as they are taller and narrower. They were super easy to put together and I have already transplanted from one pot and moved another plant into the Air-pot. I was worried that when I unscrewed the pot to get the plant out it might not go back together very well. It did and I would expect to be able to reuse these multiple times. Even threaded the two screws back in the same holes and it still is very sturdy. If the screw holes I’ve used seem worn out down the road I think the pot will still hold well if I go one notch down.Removing the plant from the Air-pot was a bit scary and difficult with just two hands. Having a helper there to remove the last screw would have been better. Roots did look very good and the plant seems very happy after transplant. These are a bit pricy but they are well made and as a novice gardener who makes a lot of mistakes I think they are worth the price. I did also buy some similar looking 1.5 gallon pots by a different company and I prefer the Air-pots. The holes on the generic ones look like they were punched inwards and will probably not drain quite as well or allow as much access for the roots to air prune. These pots are also very easy to hold on to if you end up needing to move them around for any reason. I would like to try growing in a thirty gallon+ Airpot but I don’t think they make them that large.

Good pot overall
After searching online for these I saw that they can be very expensive when buying in bulk, however I was able to get 6 for around $90 which is $15 each. Great value as they are usually like $20+ for one. Very easy to assemble, just roll it up and stick the holder in it. Upon first opening it, you’ll think they’re overpriced simply for the fact it’s a piece of plastic with holes in it, but the benefits you’ll get from being able to supply oxygen to the roots 24/7, your plants will love it!

Ingenious Design
Assembly: Ingenious assembly design. Very easy to put together, just a couple of steps. Be sure to look at the instructions. They are good and will help you assemble correctly. Otherwise you may do it inside out. If you do, easy to fix.Growing plants in them: So far, so good. I haven't had them long but my cuttings and plants look happy. I bought the pots in hopes of managing water content more effectively and to aid healthy root spread. Seems to be working very well. Will know more with time.

Work Perfectly for my Citrus Trees
I planted two lemon trees and one lime tree in these. They work perfectly and allow for the drainage these trees need. All three trees are flourishing. They are a bit pricey, but because of how well they work, I have purchased several of these. Highly recommend them if you’re growing citrus trees in pots and pull them indoors during the winters.

Looks great but... Also Air-Pots US is not very helpful unless you buy from them direct
A very simple product to put together but was made very difficult because there were no locking screws. Very hard to put dirt into the pot when it will not stay together. Hope the vendor reads this and gets the locking pins to me.Update 3/19/2021:I called Air-Pots in the US for help in replacing the missing connectors. They told me to contact Amazon for resolution because they do not support their product sold by other companies. I think that is lousy service.Update 3/25/2021:Tried to get resolution thru Amazon and have not heard back from them. This has got to be the absolute worst service I have ever had from Amazon. I ended up ordering the connectors from Air Pot Bros and paid a fortune in shipping. Never going to use them again even if it costs more.

Very Sturdy Pots - Comparison photos with a 3 gallon fabric pot.
I have to say that the Superoots air-pot brand is well constructed from sturdy materials. I spent the extra money after reading reviews about competitor brands that fell short of the mark in terms of product thickness and longevity. I was confused by the "3 gallon equivalent" claims where these pots only hold 2.2 gallons of growing medium. When the pots arrived I assembled one and placed it beside our Gardzen 3 gallon fabric pots (see photos). We use coco as a growing medium with Floraflex mazes to distribute the nutrient solution. As you can see the Floraflex mazes fit perfectly on top of the pot but as the medium settles after a few waterings the mazes may require a slight trim OR more medium may need to be added. As you can see, the air-pots stand a bit taller than the fabric pot however the is no coco medium in first two bottom rows of the air-pot making them almost identical in actual height in regards to capacity (top to bottom). The air-pots, just barely, did not fit inside the 3 gallon fabric pot due to the raised "nubs" on the air-pot. Overall the two pots seem very close in terms of total area and if it turns out that less coco is required...more savings on growing medium. I'm looking forward to our first run in these new pots and will post an update to this review to offer our thoughts on the finish product compared to the fabric pots.

3 years later.....
Edited review: after nearly 3 years I still have my 3gal super roots AP and they work great exactly as advertised...lateral root development increased exponentially in soilless f&d with Coco which can be a meds but all of em are to an extent so I just line it with ripped Coco liner /matt ....A bit pricey but have outlasted and outperformed all others thus far next head to head is radical bags but the AP are well worth the investment imho.

works for me!
very high quality. plastic is nice and thick and heavy duty. can be messy to water if soil has gotten too dry. try to water before this happens to avoid long watering sessions and waste less water and fertilizer through run off. as it pours out the side hole rather easily when overly dry. other wise they work like they say. no root circling. i bought these to use with led lights. why? because they evaporate faster than conventional pots. which helps prevent over watering. which was a issue for me under the leds.Cheers!
