will it fit whirlpool?
This part is not listed for my whirlpool Model# GS6SHAXKQ01 fridge, but the whirlpool replacement is a build your part kit for about $70.00. I decided to try this part after reading reviews that others have used this part#61005518 as a workable replacement. For less than $20.00 I decided to give it a try.. Fit was exactly like the original part, all the connections matched. Plugged in fridge. Started right up, and as of a couple of days later is working fine, cold, quiet. all in all a good choice. Would recommend.

Quick fix to clicking sound from Compressor
If the refrig has clicking sound from compressor and cannot started, buy this part and replace it. It will start running and cooling.
